New Jak and Daxter game for PSP and PS2

Muhh...I still don't know what to think about it right now.

I kinda liked where the series ended and if they were going to make more games, I wish they were putting the kind of energy into it like Insomniac have been with the new Ratchet and Clank games on the PS3 (this new Jak title isn't made by Naughty Dog, btw).

Jak's voice doesn't sound like his Mike Erwin one of past (could just be a trailer-replacement or Mike's getting back into the role - happened with Torn in Jak 3)...but that makes me nervous.

Keira's 3D models have been getting uglier and uglier since Jak 2, this one's the worst - yet Jak's model looks almost 100% like his Jak X one (even the clothes are quite similar).

At least Daxter is still very much himself. You can always trust Max Casella to return! chuu~!

Any thoughts from the very small % of us that play/like these games?

Also - PHIL LAMARR AT AUCKLAND ARMAGEDDON! Sig, Count Veger and GT Blitz all in one turn! We have an epic Jak group cosplay in the works for Saturday if anyone's interested in joining (current spots taken to follow later).

I myself don't own the games, I've tried it out and watched trailers, wiki, google. etc...
But I must agree, and if they intended to continue; do it faster!! I originally thought the series had stopped Razz

No offense: I did find the original story very interesting, but as it went on, it became really dark, and I played the third game a little(very little)and the game play was rather hard >~<

I'm looking forward to the new game, but that's probably because I didn't like where Jak X ended-- I wanted to know more about Rayn and some of the other smaller characters. While it doesn't really look like the new game'll be giving us anything to do with them, from what I can see so far in the trailers, I'm still liking the idea of more J&D.

Also-- can't wait to see the cosplay group. Your Tess outfit is great, and I'm looking forward to seeing who else you've got for it. Any chance of telling us what other characters there are thus far? =D

@ Luna - really? I found the gameplay on Jak 3
much easier, since it has a built-in difficulty curve that will ease up
if you really struggle with missions. With Jak 2, if you failed, it was
pretty much 'welp, you suck, have another go'.

@ Pyro - Thus far with the girl cosplayers, we have Tess, Ashelin (Jak X style), Keira and Rayn

We also have a guy doing Jak (Jak X syle).

We
WERE to have a human Daxter too but right now it looks like Jessy might
not be able to come over like we had first planned, so I dunno right
now).
