Looooooooong Silver wig.

Yue has hair longer than his feet! Obviously, that's completely ridiculous, but the problem is I don't know which length I should actually get.

1) I'm tempted, so very tempted to get a 51'' pale silvery wig (which I will actually have to FIND >.>) which is past butt-length. I've kind of decided the only practical way to wear it is to plait it, to stop it from getting tangled.

2) A back-length wig, which would be slightly cheaper and probably easier to find and stop from tangling, but my inner female dog keeps whining that it wouldn't be so accurate xD

Advice~?

My gf buys a lot of wigs from overseas... I'll ask her if she can find some for you.

Back-length, butt-length...

S'all very close anyway. You could just go with finding the longest (affordable) one you can find. Usually butt-length Shocked

im with you on the accuracy and wanting the long wig, but the longer the wig, the bigger the mess >_<;

back length/bum length will be a pain as it is.
although it also depends on WHERE your going to wear it. If you only ever wear it inside (away from wind etcetc) then you could go longer tho it will still get tangled.

Yue has long hair and then a pony tail thingy right? You could make the pony tail out of wefts and then attach the finished tail to the wig?

i no it would be a pain to find..(trust me i no) but id go with the butt-length wig? because depnding on how tall you are.....the back length wig would look really......not yue-ish.(im quite tall and i've tried so yeah^^)
oh...yeah...i need to know where to find a looong butt-length white wig......its for auckgeddon...im crossplaying as Squalo from KHR.......and already i've torn the whole of Auckland apart and i'm about to start tearing my hair apart trying to find the wig......any ideas before i go completely insane?~oh im probably going to wear it outside? im not sure.....~

Ebay is a good place to start, a wig like that you're going to have to get overseas. Cosworx also has the 'Amanda' which is butt-length, and I do believe it comes in white. Do be prepared to fork out for it though, its $50US...

@Tsuki Ami: D00d, you can try, and I do hope you find one there, but such a wig is a very specialist item. A very small amount of people are going to want one, only cosplayers. That'll drive the price up, and then again by the fact that they're good quality, and very long.

You can get a Godiva wig, but I wouldn't reccomend it. They're cheaper and nastier, as well as being thin. With wigs, you really get what you pay for. I would reccomend ebay if you don't like Cosworx's prices, or searching the coscom marketplace. You might be able to get a second hand one and save a few bucks that way.

*goes to look at her Yue pics* Well... Yue's hair is pretty long, but it's ALL tied together. As in a very, very loose ponytail. He ties it at hip/butt level, but I'm sure if you went with tying it shoulderblade/bra band level it'd look okay.

And that at least minimizes tangles, although not completely. (And wind would still be very bad.)

I had another question though... does it look white or silver? Becuase nearly all the Yue cosplayers use white, but all the ref pics I think have a definate silver tint. I was going to use wefts and use the tie as an inconspicuous joining point.

I'd go with whatever is easiest to get a hold of, rather than go for accuracy.
Though, to me, he has silvery-blue grey hair. Possibly silvery white but they are definitely darker than his white robes. (But lighter than the blue grey trim on his robes.)
