Right.

Vegas has unlimited video/audio streams and higher editing technology.
It has masking options, color changing tools x 9000, and about a bajillion other things.

However, the trade off is the fact it's kind of slow, and it takes forever to render things. Also, I can't preview things at full speed-- and sometimes trying to preview things at all freezes it for me. xD

EDIT: It should be noted that I modded my WMM out before it broke and some of my stuff done on my modded version was mistooken for lower-level Vegas editing, so you can mod out WMM to be reasonably good. That said, you still won't have the options for multiple tracks.

ALSO WMM DOES NOT HAVE HSL ADJUST FORIEHGPRTIHWPIENPFGERTISHYRTE I LOVE HSL ADJUST.

well i dont see why you cant use it... unless riven has a good argument...

i mean with time constraints its gonna be hard to use all the extras etcetc

oh btw if by some chance have 30min left before the comp ends and your 'amv maker' crashes and you lose everything coz you ere to stupid to save... yeah poor you =P

will be judge on end result, fair enough?

Yeah, time constraints will make it raaather unfeasible for me to do much flashy stuff-- flashy stuff takes about an hour to get one second of it right. xD

Oh, one good thing about Sony Vegas is that even if it crashes, it always saves your work for you... Though the fifteen minute load time on my comp. can be killer. ;D

well i think that if you only use a chorus or 1 part of it, it should be fine

like somewhere in you amv has to be a part of it

or maybe have a large collection and once the songs been chosen then you cant use it

Like- Um we have a chosen song and half way through the AMV we have another chosen song and we can use that chosen song anywhere within the AMV and have to use both of the chosen songs ?!?

It's probably not anything you're thinking of-- I almost always title my AMVs differently to the song they're using.

As it were, the song I'm using for the AMV I'm making right now is called 'Shattered', by Trading Yesterday. C=

not sure at the moment... i'll keep an eye out for some good songs
i might add a few random ones in there ~~jonas brothers FTW~~ but it'll depend on how many are in the comp i guess
