Yes I was disappointed at the way Gin died too, although I really should have seen it coming.  But I love how Gin did all for Rangiku, I always knew those two loved each other and now we have proof. I knew he couldn't kill her either. I feel really sorry for Rangiku now, not only did Gin die in her arms, but the fact that he did all for her ... it's just so sad and touching!

417 is by far one of my most favourite chapters of all time. It's been a while since I basically yelled a like a fanboy and went OOHHH! I can't wait for the explanation of Ichigo's 'new' bankai and why the chain is so long. Also, I'm going to assume that a few chapters will detail the fight between Tensa Zangetsu/Hollow Ichigo and Ichigo in the coming weeks. 'Tis a good way to kill time and explain things.
