So it comes out in like 22 days. I'm all excited~ ^^

So who is buying it and if so, are you getting the collectors edition?

Yeah, the collectors edition is wicked expensive... But so worth it~ I've been saving since last year so when I get it, I won't have to starve for a month. XD

I so can’t wait for it; it’s been years since I have played one so I’m really looking forward to it.

There are acutely 3 editions coming out here, the normal one, the collectors edition and the collectors edition that is been released in the USA, I’m thinking about getting the 3^rd, only problem is it’s $200.

The Australian special edition is the same as the US one... Except they're calling it the Uber Edition (because they're weird) and then there is the limited edition, but if I recall correctly, the limited edition doesn't have anything the collectors edition doesn't already have.

I'm getting the collectors because the normal one is $140 bucks, game prices are really getting bad here >_<

We do get a better deal if we buy the collectors edition, because it's priced pretty much the same in every country.

I would if my drive wasn't buggered, the Xbox wont read my discs, so I'm sorting that at the moment x.x

I don't trust Xboxs. And I certainly wouldn't trust it with RE5. Evil, breakable things... If I couldn't play it, I'd actually have to kill something.

zzzz i just got suckered into paying 199.99 for res evil 5 collectors ed for ps3 im questioning the wizdom of my purchase. Does anyone have any idea what is in the collectors ed?

A copy of the game in a metal case, a TriCell tote bag, a Chris Redfield action figure, a BSAA patch, a Kijuju pendant, and the making of DVD.

I'm paying a little less for mine but considering the amount of stuff you get, it's a pretty good deal. That, and it should be fairly good quality stuff too.

Special editions are so iffy... They can get away with having like one extra thing. Collectors editions actually have to have stuff you would want to collect. XD

Was kinda silly not even checking/asking, but yeah LithiumCrystal is right, it's an awesome package.

They're not that bad, and considering Sony gave us the middle finger and made me wait an extra 6 months for their console I got it for cheaper instead with tonnes of games, you are right though the early models aren't to be trusted, but because of a lot of legal issues they have had to fix a lot of problems thus making the new models fine now =D

I'll be getting a ps3 soon anyways once I can afford it as it finally has titles out I want xD

Yeah, I fished arounf for ages to get the best price I could on it.

I simply just don't like Xbox. I mean, I'm sure they have improved but you know like when you have a bad experience with one kind of food and you never want to eat it again? It's the same with me and Xbox. I know they have like heaps more games, but I only play Metal Gear, Devil May Cry and survival horrors, so I don't really worry too much. I actually own The Call of Cthulhu on Xbox, but I don't want to own the console, so I just play it at other people's houses. Better their stuff breaks than mine! In all the years of owning all the Play Station consoles, I have never had a problem with any of them, so I stick with what I trust.

I wish the bag that comes with the set wasn't TriCell... It should be Umbrella instead. I don't care if they're "finished" quote/unquote, they'll always be better than some stupid other company owned by Boobie McBoob-Face. (God, I hate Excella! ARGH!)

Oh Trust me when I say it aint my favorite console -Still plays Ps2- I have a Wii, psp and DS too. And I do love them more, especially my ps2, had it since they came out and it works fine :3 I buy em for the games, I couldnt care less about the machine itself, I still play the odd Amiga game because they are fun.

I love all consoles. My PS2 is one of the huge ones, not one of those fragile little slimline ones. I find comfort in the fact that if I needed to, I could literally kill someone with my PS2. ^_^
