National Cosplay Day in Palmy

Alright Manawatu/near Manawatu cosplayers!!
24th of January the national cosplay day is coming.
Me and Anita were thinking to have a Tea-party theme photo-shoot in Palmy.

When - 24th of January
Where - the Rose Garden in the Victoria Esplanade Park
in Palmerston North.
Time - about 10am

I think my youngest sister Dakyung and Roku are around about that age.
I'm bad with calculating other people's age xD
Since I'm over 20 now I don't give a dame about age anymore Lolz.

Well if you need any reliable gardians in our goup, Me and Diana will be the oldest of all xD
We are both the same age of 20.
I'm sure we can take a good care of everyone for a day.
Everyone is trustworthy person and I enjoy being with everyone.

My mum trust him as well.
We really need to protect cosplayers from bad media and stuff.
C4 made fun of cosplayers early this year, and I think it is upto older cosplyers to protect young ones.

If you guys don't mind I could ask a Manawatu Newpaper writer to come and take some photo of us. I don't know if they will take us seriously though they were interested in cosplaying in Sakura Festival.

I will see if I can do something about it.
However before I do, the time of the photo shoot should be confirned.
So at least I can ask them to come if they are interested.

Man its late... [edit: and write too much]

I finally got in contact with Larry and she said that she might be able to take me to Palmy, yay~ *waves arms*

And anytime should be fine, so if we start before noon (or earlier) then we can have lunch while taking photos~ (and the sun will be directly above us then, even lighting~ -ish geek- )

The tables at the parks usually have chairs/stools with them don't they..? But then there's the problem of there not being enough space on the table for 7+ people...

If we go for the blanket on the ground we could just get ~*pretty*~ pillows, lol

Ignore half the email I sent you, I thought we'd be going to your house first or something, and I should tell Diana that she doesn't have to drop by Bulls to pick up the tea cups...

well I'm trying to avoid the noon
sun right above our head isn't good for a photo shoot.
I prefere the even lighting in the early morning or evening but we don't have a luxury of time. so I will say around about 10am or 2pm it is a sunny day.
If it is a slightly cloudy day noon should be fine xD

If she can't come in the morning. She could always come on Friday and stary a night in my house.

Diana's taking a car down, so no problems there~

And I agree with the sun, if it's too bright I'LL MELT!!!!!!!
and sunscreen would wreck the make up, oh yea, my doctors appointment changed to tomorrow (tuesday) why I said that, who knows...?

OK updating the number of people now

We'll have 11 people coming now
Dakyung, Ethel, Anita, Larrie +4, Diana, ROKU +? and Me.

I havn't heard how many of Roku's friends are coming so I will update once more when I get the information.

We welcome parents to join us, if they don't mind us. xD
It will be a quite a big event I'll say.
So if you can bring any friends just convince them to dress up for tea party theme and join.
Just tell me so I can organize how many people are coming.

Thats gonna be ALOT of tea cups, lol, from the looks of things I'll probably bring a couple of spare cups.

So I'm assuming we'll be doing blanket on floor...?

I have two small ones of green and 2~3 reflective blacket for ground.
I'll check if the art recycling center still has a huge roll of fabric that I can use on the floor. I think I remember seeing striped fabric in a huge roll.

alot of tea cups will be hard to carry safely...
are you sure you want to take the risk?
I don't want you to be scolded by your parents...

I do admit it's a pretty big gamble, especially if some of the other guys decide to to have a game of tag or someone stumbles among the food.

Maybe we could ask the others to bring their own cups and saucers etc. if it's no trouble for them.
I'm gonna assume 10 would be the boarder line. ^^;
Cause I really didn't think that so many people would be coming.
