I am loving what I've seen of Dissidia so far. x3
I just spent half an hour watching some of the cutscenes on Youtube, and I find Tidus' admiration of Cloud really, really cute.

It's just so sweet, watching him tell Cecil and Firion that they should be more like the angsty chocobo-boy. <333!!

Also; I have discovered a loathing for Onion Knight. He's just so boring...
(As is Terra, but whatever)

... Gaaah, I want the game to come out in English soon so I can play it!! ;_;

Lol if you really want it, its really easy to use a translation guide. So far I've done everything fine, gotten good equipment, chosen an awesome Tidus moveset and everything.

Light Warrior Don't like him, he's the bland boring *shiny * oh so prefect type.
Garland Garland was major lols back in FF1 , don't know about Dissidia..
Firinon Like him, he seems like the calm engimatic secertive type..
Paramecia Never liked him in FF2 because of reglious reasons, city of hell ?
Onion Kid and Dark Cloud Like this two, Onion Kid is so cute and the costume change
and Dark Cloud has a awesome theme song =]
Bartz Klauser and Exdeath Exdeath is dull as anything, Bartz is dorky looking. But Ok
Tina and Kefka Tina and Kefka are coool..
Cloud and Sephy Never liked Sephy, Glad Cloud wears purple again -whoooo !-
Squall and Ultimecia These two haven't really much changed from FF8 ..
Zidane and Kuja Both of them seem to have a great fighting style, love Kuja ^^
Tidus and Jecht Tidus seems like the comic relief of the game, Jecht is Jecht..

I don't care about learning the equipment and movesets, etcetera, I want the English version so that I can understand the story and follow the interactions between the characters. Also... I don't like Tidus' Japanese voice very much. Nor a few of the other characters.

Heh... Heh... It's obvious now, that I grew up on the dubs of the games.

Um, um. So some of the alternative costumes are: Onion Knight's EX Mode, Cloud's Advent Children costume and Cecil's Dark Knight costume. What else is there?

Ok Alex, the alt costumes are a bit different but also nice find on the figures!

The Alt. Costumes I know of are :

Cloud : Advent Children Clothes
Sephiroth : Shirtless
Tidus : Darker shade of clothes
Warrior Of Light : A colour swap to look like original Fighter

Thats all I know currently, but I dunno how to get them XD

Tidus is always wearing his FFX outfit? Everyone is wearing respective outfits except for Warrior Of Light and Onion Knight (I think)

Alternate Outfits can be purchased from the PP Store like the villains were. Other ones to add to that list:

Onion Knight: Lunneth from the remake
Terra: Her FF6 colours, so you can finally have her with green hair
Squall: His SEED uniform
Bartz: His Amano art look, which looks infinitely cooler than his Pit cosplay (seriously, he looks like Pit)
Kuja: Him in blue instead of purple

Well Mefushimi, if you enjoy fast characters then Im pretty sure Onion Knight is your best bet because he zips around enemies and pulls off these awesome moves! Squall is about combos so if you can find the best combo out of a bunch im sure you can p00n the opposition as Squall.

Hmm, in game you dont really notice it, the moves look very nice and chain together well! You just have to play it and you will be concentrated on attacking and not the fluidity of the movement :)

Just curious, but have any of the rest of you looked up the 'entering battle' quotes online?

Some of them're actually really funny.

Kefka asks if he can play with Tidus' balls, and Tidus admires Kuja's abs.

Jecht ponders over which celebrity is better: him, or Sephiroth.

And none of the characters seem to be able to stop worrying over how hot Gabranth must be in his armor.

... In general, they're all very cool.
Oh! Oh! And lots of the characters question Tidus' limitless energy.
