2010 Doctor Who/Torchwood

Yes, I'm planning this early for 2010.

I was talking with Rowan, and we came up with an idea for a 2010 cosplay. We were watching Doctor Who (ALL of the new seasons), and figured we should do a Doctor Who cosplay!

We want to get EVERY Doctor, as in all 11 (We should know who the 11th is by then lol), plus some companions. Maybe even some Torchwood characters too.

As I have stated, many times, we want all the Doctors... So far we haven't achieved that.

I've edited the character list, so that it's easier to find characters that are already taken....

We also have someone who is willing to knit the scarf for the 4th Doctor if we get a 4th Doctor. -Thank you Rowan's mom!

Please let me know if you're interested in playing a character and I'll write your name here. I hope that we can have quite a few people by the time 2010 rolls around, but if you post here, and then change your mind, that's okay. It's a long way off.

EDIT: We are now working on making a colapsable Tardis and are thinking about doing this on the Monday, so we can do a skit then go for dinner in costume (With RB Donna and everyone else in suits, we may just look like a wedding party)

Further EDIT: Morgana had a good idea. We are going to make shirts for everyone, for a small fee (to cover costs of the shirts and the printing), no more than maybe $20, you will get a personalised shirt. The design so far is to have on the back "2010 Doctor Who Cosplay, Armageddon" And on the front have your character and username, for example, mine would say, "Interstella - The Tenth Doctor" If anyone has any better ideas, please let us know. So far, this is only an idea, and it may not happen as Morgana is moving away and wouldn't be able to get my help.

Too bad you're not coming back. But I'm sure someone will make use of your costumes, and you never know, maybe you'll be able to come back just for that lol ^^

YAY I hope we get a whole lot of cosplayers by 2010. (who could we force Ashton to be, Abbey?)

So I'll be doing either the Professor Yana version of John Simm's Master (when he first regenerates into John Simm), or the Harold Saxon version. I like the first version clothes, but then if I did the suit I could have a Vote Harold Saxon sign ~~and maybe a pretty blonde in a red dress on my arm~~. LOL

And yup my mum has offered to make the Fourth Doctor's scarf, so if anyone wants to be him but can't knit we've got it sorted :)

Hmmm... perhapse we could get Ashton to be your blonde in a red dress? We're crossdressing, why can't we get him to also? Lol. No, maybe the ninth?

I dont know if I'll be able to, but since you never know what will happen in that amount of time.... Put me down for either Rose or Gwen.

And Steve will potentially be interested in the ninth... I dont know. He already cosplays 9th and 10th so who knows.

Yeah something like that Abbey. Even just two of her more recognisable (well to me anyway) outfits, like the pink dress in the television episode, or the Union Jack outfit and now that I think about it both are from different Doctor periods.

I might be able to ask my mate Andrew if he wants to be a Doctor, he was gunna be the 10th at Armageddon in October but didn't get around to it, I am sure he would find it kewl to able to be one of the Early Doctors...I will ask him.
