No, ROOTS is like a prequell to GU.

Roots tells of what happened in the Twilight Brigade, and then GU is set six months after Roots when Haseo is trying to figure out why Shino is in a coma and trying to find Ovan.

Well Roots is still one of the best because.....NAhh GU is better. But Roots is Anime and we see how TRi-edge came about :)

Actually, IMO, Roots was pretty bad. I've been a long time .hack fan (first anime series I bought on DVD =3=), and Roots just seemed a bit .. Lacking.

It started off great, but after Shino fell into a Coma it went downhill and spent the second half of the series with Haseo being an emo and going through that forest. It's was pretty hard to sit though.

well from 1-13 and 20-23 were great episodes.
Especially when Haseo beat 100 PKer's =:3

Haseo suited the Emu thing. heck he dressed all black and looked like a chick already x=

I was never really fond of ROOTS, I liked the rest of the franchise though..... ignoring Legend of the Twilight anime. Haven't watched .hack//Trilogy, however from my friend who is the biggest .hack fan I know it was a travesty that didn't really follow the game's story at all, not to mention it had a complete lack of Endrance.

Im still uploading the rest of the parts but im to lazy and my computer is slow because its not mine and people suck sad

But yeah, just watch it on youtube :) the fighting is really cool and HAseo and Atoli suit each other better in the movie.

My computer is just craptastic. It is incredibly slow (on and off -__-), and there's like, no space. Less than 200mb. My mum refuses to get more memory.

Roots was a slide show.

It's like they didn't have the budget to actually animate the episodes. .hack//sign was known for it's drawn out scenes of artwork and good music, but Roots took it further to the point where characters just stand and stare for whole minutes or more while ALI Project blasts in the background. ALI Project is good, the artwork is good, but it's supposed to be anime (as in, Animated). On the occasion you do get an action scene like the one mentioned above, it really pales in comparison to how awesome it could of been. I was anticipating the 100 PK killing, but was sort of let down by its lackluster-ness.

The games themselves have a similar problem, awesome art, awesome music, awesome story, let down by grind and repeditiveness (though it is supposed to be an RPG). G.U//Trilogy was excellent though.

Also, Emu?

You. I want GU//Trilogy D: (Hmn, I think you still have three of my blank disks ... I gave you four for Bleach, and Bleach was on one ... Or I could be wrong ...).

Rikashiku; 80gb seems rather small too. I think the laptop I use has 35gb, and all my stuff is clogging it up. 80gb would be too small xD. I want an external hard drive D:

200mb is very small. I have to download an episode of anime, move it to my laptop, and then start the next one because the computer only has space for one episode -__-. It is encredibly frustrating.

Well it was still pridy cool. Although the movie version was better. Hmmm maybe i should finish watching signs first before i judge.
Ali project and FictionJunction YUUKA are the best BGM's :)

Emu is me making fun of Emo :) although saying emo is enough already.......:) yeah im hypo and make fun of anything now.

Well for 600-900 bux 80gb is enough lol. laptops are getting cheaper now. Some with 400gb, 3gb RAM, 4.0ghz and wireless internet are worth like 18-2,000 bux now.
Which is 5 weeks of work for me! :)

I liked Ali Project back when I first heard them in Noir, but when I heard them again I realised everything they do sounded more or less the same. But FictionJunction YUUKA and anything related to Yuki Kajura is good which is what SIGN and Liminality had.

I enjoyed SIGN a lot, admittedly I also felt it dragged a lot but I found it to be a nice series.

Now i remember why i hated Signs more than Roots!

The first 3 episodes were non-stop talking with not many answers!

I stopped then and saw afew episodes with Silver Knight in it(Heheh hes a 26yo and he talks like that HAHA!)

Hmmm it did have more fighting so that was good.

DS455 are purrdy good(dunno if thats the name thooo)

Do you download videos with Real Player? :)

The video's dont take up much memory through real player but then again they dont work on any other player unless they use .flv which is small but good with Real player.

I have Real Player, and I have Ouran for it, but it wasn't very good quality.
