Hopefully. My Au Pair job keeps me at bay a little but since it's family I get some flexibility. Not only that though but I have movie stuff to do but it's just extra work so it won't take up much time.

That's kind of cool. I can't wait either way. Any lick of anime I can get will be nice. I can bring very little cosplay, anime or manga with me since I can only have like...two suitcases and a carryon. So long as I have my laptop though I'll be fine.

Just means I need to plan out my cosplay carefully. Which ones I really need and such.

*arrives late to the party*

WELCOME TO NEW ZEALAND (or... welcome for when you get here, which isn't now, but will be sometime in the future...)

And don't mind us beeing all puppyeyes about American cons. We only get threeish a year if we're rich enough to get to them so America with its 50 bajillion cons sounds like heaven to us rabid cosplayers.

:)

We do have a lot of cons here but sadly there aren't many I get to go to. I wish I could just travel and go ot a lot but I cannot. There are like...ten near me if I want to drive for hours so I go to about three or four a year if I can.

I'm not sure about the ball, it would be fun though! I've never been to an anime ball before. I was invited to one at the last con I went to but turned it down to do some cosplay ice skating at the mall.

I'm not sure where in Wellington I'll be yet. I just found out I was going to be in Wellington acually. XD All I knew was I was going to NZ. I'll check it out later and get back to you. I'm always online, unless I'm at work or sleeping...which I don't do much of.

Meet-ups are fun! Yay meet-ups!

Around here? Quite impossible.

Oregan...I should know where that is, but I don't. I lived in Ohio for three years, only been back in NZ for 6 months.

So yeah, enjoy it, cuz NZ is an awesome sort of place to live? I hope you like beaches~

Yeah, we have lots of beaches. And there's alteast three in Wellington. I don't know, I don't like beaches much xDD.

Isn't there some really long beach on the North Island's west coast? (I only know this because there was an article in the news about it recently ...)

We have the Oregon coast but it's always cold around here. We get rain and snow all winter and then 90 degree whether for summer. So NZ should be a new experience...

Well, when you come over it will summer~~ xD. Wellington doesn't snow ;__; But from about Christchrch downwards they get a bit of snow. (I swear that it gets worse every year, it didn't snow in the four years I lived in that area - not much from what I can remember atleast).

But Wellington has funny weather xD. Lots of wind too ;___;. I HATE the wind here Dx. My house is on a hill too, so it's worse.

It's too hot in Summer, so I stay in doors and die from the heat there rather than the heat outside and get burnt. (And that was why sunscreen was invented ... I hate it. D;< )

The other day it was really hot ;__; I walked from school to Borders and melted from the heat (apparently it was 22 degrees (celcius xD), which was the hottest it's been for a while. Supposed to be the same today aswell ... But I'm inside and studdying for exams ;___;).

Haha, yeah, different sides of the road xD. My uncle lives in America and when he comes over to visit he hates driving.

I'm too lazy to learn to drive. I don't really trust myself either. Northland is waaaaay too steep/windey for my liking. (Wellington is made up of a bunch of stupid hills -___-. Only flat part is the city itself ... And the airport. I can go about earthquakes and swamps that made it flat, but you're probably not interested xDDD).

Thanks for all the information. I'd rather know now than find out the hard way. I figure I need to drive to do things though since my aunt will be gone at work most of the time and I need to be able to do things myself.

Lawlz, we got very off topic, that's for sure XD
