Short time stay in Christchurch

Hey everone

I will be in Christchurch from January till end of March and probably going to the ChCh Armageddon.
Quite likely without costume though since they're staying back home.

I'm from Switzerland, but loving NewZealand since my first visit in 2010. (Been back another 2 times already since.)
Not acctually a cosplayer but costume-lover, I'm enjoying recreating costumes from movies and theater down to all the small details. I love doing the research and hunt for the right materials and bringing costumes to live by weathering.

My most recent projects are from the Hobbit-Movie and will be a Mirkwood elve and a female dwarf by my own concepts.
I'll post pictures of the sketches soon.

My costumes cover Sifi, Comic, Fantasy and stage costumes.
Newest member of the wardrobe ist Effie Trinket from the Hunger Games, as you can see in my avatar.

Thats about my costumes.

Why is she joining our forum if she's only in NZ for 3 month max, you might ask?
I will be attending Hobbit*Con in Germany over Easter next year and I will only have about 1 week to finish my femal dwarf.
That means I will probably do some stuff in NZ and might need help from people who know, where to get materials I will be looking for.
So I thought that local Cosplayers would be the best to ask, since you guys probably know the right suppliers.

I will post some pictures later in this introduction thread... but I'm looking forward to maybe meeting some of you personally in NZ.
