Hello everyone!
This is Asa from Hong Kong.
I am going to stay at New Zealand in coming 2015 and would like to join the cosplay events in NZ!
Can't wait to meet all your lovely guys ^^!!!

Hello there!!

There's only 4 big conventions in NZ, and they are all the same on just run in different cities (called Armageddon Expo).
Once you come to NZ, I do hope you'll enjoy being with us! :)

Yep, usually that's what happens!
There's 1 event in the South Island in Christchurch, and 3 in the North Island in Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington.

The website is here http://armageddonexpo.com/nz/ the dates are usually confirmed a few months before the event but for Auckland it's always Labour Weekend in the third week of October.

-Do i need to purchase the online ticket now or can I just buy it at the entrance on the event day?
-Any extra charges to the cosplayer?

There are door sales! There are also pre-sales via the associated ticketing website, usually they have a 2-day or 3-day pass combo at a cheaper rate than buying each day's ticket individually.
The pre-sales usually go on a few months before (check website, it should say when they have started!).

No extra charge for cosplayers! Though do behave respectfully at the venue and leave the bathrooms in a clean/tidy state. Just general etiquette!
