Inactive user trying to make a comeback

I'm not technically a newbie here; I used to be fairly active on here, back in 2010, and then dropped off the face of the Earth after moving to Asia (and then elsewhere). However, having not been online here for over two years, I thought it best to introduce myself again because I realised that I had lost touch with a lot of good friends and I wanted to try to be more active and be better with communication.

So hello! I'm Kitty of Doom, also known as KoD or KiDoom, and in real life I'm called Jules. I used to live in Christchurch (and spent a lot of years growing up in different areas of New Zealand) but for the last few years I've been living in the UK and the USA - yes, I'm aware that those two places are not near each other - and before that I was in Singapore. I probably won't be hugely active, given where I live, but I hopefully will actually be more involved than what I've done for the last few years, and I am coming back to visit the South Island at the beginning of January 2014. I'm a fan of sci-fi, fantasy and video games, though I haven't been able to play all that much in the last few years, and once I finish my exams this year, I'm planning to get back into cosplay, which I had tentatively begun to try when I had to move.
Oh yes, and I'm overly verbose. Apologies for that.
