Finished the mock up for the hoodie, I think it's a bit too short D:
Wearing this is so gross cause it's made from calico so I laid it out for a photo but hopefully the real one will be comfy and stretchy c:

Finished the hoodie finally! So glad I made that mock up because I lost the pattern for my sleeves so i unpicked the sleeves off that one and used those c:
It's so far from perfect, its got bad visible seams, tucks everywhere and the inside is a complete mess not to mention the colour is off and washed out (it looks pinker in person) and those little things along the white trim are hot glued on lmao. Now I just have to find some boots...

I ditched the gumboots idea cause I couldn't find any! Luckily I found a pair of $3 white boots in an op shop yay and the right colours in paint although I think that the purple is a bit dark
sorry about the gross carpet D:
need to clean up the black heel bits and also get onto remaking that crown

It's called Kaiser colour and i bought it from spotlight! Painted over a layer of gesso but I don't know how long it will last, hopefully it doesn't start to flake or crack...

Ah I really want to make calhoun but I have no experience with armor at all! It will be a challenge if I attempt it and will be expensive as heck so I have to plan carefully o:

Bubblegum complete! Boots cracked in places and my facepaint was a complete mess so i'm definitely going to get some different paint and sealer powder. Dont use baby powder and hairspray cause it dries your face out and makes it terrible :C

Also not cosplay, but I am proud of it! For my fabrics class I had to design an outfit for a toddler and choose a client. Luckily I got a little girl who loves pink dresses! I made the pattern and sewed everything without too much help c:

Okay turns out the foam I needed for Calhoun's armour is way too expensive for me :C
But the stuff that I'm using for Mass effect armour is about $20 for a pack of 3 sheet things.
So I'll be working on this and hoping it turns out alright.

Well time to start again!
I made both pieces for the front armor and managed to muck it up ):

The same lines that were put on the lower half couldn't be carved into the bust because it wasnt flat and the line down the middle of the bottom piece shouldn't extend down past that line to the crotch.
I don't think I'll carve out the middle line on the next go... just the side ones that look thickest. Also redoing bust and I'll just paint the lines on...yep.

Wow, that's still very impressive! Did you use a heat gun or something to get it to curve like that??

Nope, I stuck it in the oven with the door open lmao word of warning though, if you see it starting to smoke then take it out cause i didn't watch the piece for a bit and it got all burnt :'D

I bought a 'bra holder' literally a plastic bra from look sharp in auck. It was a bit small so I had to break it apart lmao.
I'll post some photos if I attempt this again! Working on a different cosplay now I just can't stick to one thing huh :'D

Thank you! I bought some funny glasses from a dollar shop that had big round pink tinted lens and popped one out and painted the back red c: Obviously not see through but they're not really functional goggles anyway!
