New to Cosplay

| Hi there guys.. im just getting into cosplay have been a fan / follower for many years.. Just having trouble deciding which character to be.. As i have never cosplay before i am quite keen to get a decent costume together.. Any ideas or thoughts would be great.. I am thinking to be Jaraxxus from the game world of Warcraft.. Also. is there any fellow cosplayers in Auckland? or any festival comming up soon that i can join some other's at.. Im just quite keen to get involved.
I am a 28 year old male. Have a japanese wife and 2 kids.. I have alot of tattoo's so if anybody can think of characters with sleeve tattoo's or anything that would be great.

| Auckland has a lot of cosplayers!  The biggest population of cosplayers in New Zealand
And yeah, the next event in Auckland is actually tomorrow It's an art exhibition thing (anime art and such) which us fellow cosplayers go to It's called Overload, but I assume you'll miss it just because it's such a short amount of time
But the biggest even in New Zealand is only a month away! Auckland Armageddon is on during Labour weekend (: It's an awesome event! Cosplay competiton, best in NZ and best in Australasia get announced too! It's in Greenlane ... In that building ... (I don't live in Auckland so I'm a bit vague, lolol, there's a sub-forum for Auckgeddon and info is on the Armageddon webpage ) |
