I'm usually one to avoid making an intro post, but since it seems I can't post anywhere else until I do...

Hi! I'm steffish, and I've decided that this is the year I'm finally going to have a go at doing cosplay. I've always loved looking at photos of the amazing costumes people make, but lack of funds, motivation, and skills have kept me from leaping in.

But since I've moved to Taupo and there's absolutely nothing to do here ever, I may as well devote myself to learning to sew XD

I'm hoping to make my cosplay debut at Hamilton Armageddon (of course H-town gets a 'geddon the year after I move away...) as Kanaya from Homestuck.

Currently wandering the internet in search of supplies. And despairing over yet another trip to Rotorua or Hamilton to look for fabric D:

Cosplaying may be a bit costly, but it's all worth it when you actually accomplish finishing a garment/costume! ^u^

Yeah finding fabric is hard on this island stare As my sister once put "No wonder New Zealand is so good at wearable arts, we can't get any real supplies". I get most of my fabric from the curtain shop my mom works at Razz
