She semi-retired in 2008 due to "unspecified illness" - but has recently begun to pick up some more roles. This news is quite a shock, and all my urges to study just went down the drain...

Nooooooooo!! Not Shindou Hikaru! One of my favourite characters from one of my favourite Anime of all time, Hikaru no Go. :sadcry: I was just listening to the soundtrack too. sad I should rewatch the Anime (Has on dvd) and reread my HnG manga in honour.
