[ACP11] Waifu carrying!!

Ahem. I'm going as Finland to ACP, and there's a Sweden, Norway and Denmark coming as well, and we (well, Norway and I) think there should be a wife carrying competition. Finland represent and all.

So this is what's been thought of (for 20 whole seconds, heck yeah):
- We could have one canon race, in which your OTPs get together (as in FrUK -because USUK just sucks-, and SoRiku, and CloudxEveryone)
- And then one crack race, in which you can go with whoever, and we could have some amazing crossovers~ And whoever's with Rikki will totally win

Obstacles might become part of the course, if we can ~~get off our asses and~~ find some suitable ones.

There's also the "sack of potatoes carry" (no, I didn't make that up) in which you just throw the person over one shoulder. It's in the video somewhere~

In the real thing, you have to skull a beer every 30/50m or so, but I'm sure we can find an alternative.

haha, this sounds fun. I might have to wait until the 2nd race though, as i know no-one who is going as someone from Yu Gi Oh GX like i am.

It's cool you want to do all this but I'm quite worried about your safety. I do not want to be held responsible for concussions and broken bones 8D;; And since some kiddies' parents will be putting their children in my care.... yeah no lawsuits PLEASE.

I'll further discuss this with the other organisers.

maybe we could stick to piggyback carrying for safety, if this goes ahead? It's by far the safest lift.

I guess it would really have to depend on the person being carried to know that whoever was carrying them were physically able to do it. Cat's piggybacked me up Queen Street in the past Very Happy

We would definitely have the race on the grass, because falling over on concrete/gravel wouldn't be pretty at all. And safetywise, we might end up not having any obstacles, and just making it an around-the-tree (or run up and touch the tree, they're basically the same) thing.

If anyone comes up with more ideas to make it safer, then of course we'll use them...
