@Icarus: Thanks for telling me that! Do you by any chance know if there's already a Bernkastel? I'll go as Bernkastel for both the DO and the ACB, because I'm too poor to afford two different cosplays on different days. OTL

They don't have to be expensive...just very very time consuming. For Joker I had to cut out about 94 squares (for his waistcoat) and 172 diamonds (for his coat and pants). It would have driven me crazy if I wasn't already.

Yeah, they're only really expensive if you buy them from a commissioner. I think a lot of cosplayers know how to budget cosplay (I know I sure do : P). Plus if the person buying the material and other items buys them while on sale, that's even cheaper : P.

The hardness would depend of the sewer's ability. And the costume they picked xD. If it's more detailed, it's harder xD

Like Pura said, it really depend on finding the perfect fabrics for reasonable prices. If you give yourself a lot of notice, and buy smart, then you can cosplay cheaply (yes, it's possible!)
