Well I'm at home now alone (Flatmate is at his Mother's house, I chose to stay here), have hot water until tank runs out and cold drinking water. Have power too but am going to run out of power in the near future. (We have a Power Manager). So tomorrow morning, I have the fun task of going on a hunt for a place to up the power or I can't stay here. stare

Saw Therese off safely today.

There still hasn't been any news about my cousin. There's a very small chance that she's unconscious in hospital, but we're fairly certain that we've probably lost her.
I also got a text on the afternoon of the earthquake from the actor who's playing Claudius in Hamlet to tell us that the director's son (our Laertes) was killed. Which was announced on the news tonight.

It's funny. I normally want to be alone when something happens, but right now I want to be around someone else near-constantly. xD

Thanks dude, hadn't got around to posting on here. We were pretty lucky here at home in St Albans, lots of stuff came down but we were unscathed. Corum was in town when it happened, was by the Westpac on High St when the windows exploded.

Got a call from my friend at 2am. His cousin had moved to ChCh Monday night and we hadn't heard from him since. He got in contact not long after midnight to his family to tell them he was okay. He'd been unconscious at a triage center but woke up about 11 last night. Got away with a mild concussion, sprained wrist and scrapes and bruises.

Had a huge chat with Paul today. He told me I had PTS and have now moved out of the city. I have got a cellphone and REALLY WANT to text people so please PM/tweet me for the number.

will have internet fot the next few days and after that I am uber keen to leave the city for a while. my job is gone and the city is far to earie where I live. Hate the state of limbo.

So I'm still at home with power, food and water. So far it's been good, I've been busy, exhausted but other than that, coping well. But this morning I woke up with what felt like my allergies playing up, not surprising really as it's very dusty outside, in the spare room and my flatmate's bedroom (Doors of which I have closed) and I'm allergic to dust. sad

But I've taken my medication and it's not working, now I'm not sure if my allergies are just being stubborn (They do that sometimes) or if I have a cold. Can't decide if I should stay here or not. :think:

Other than that and exhaustion I am fine.

I hope everyone is keeping well, take care of yourself guys. Smile
