xDD I'm keen for any and all games. I don't remember the last time I had actual party games at a birthday party. Normally, for teenagers, it's all about drinking and going out clubbing and stuff. But that's never any fun. =(
The best kind of party fun is pass the parcel and duck duck goose and all them good sorts of games!!! ^-^

I'm just about finished my Cynthia jacket. Just prettying the edges, then attaching the sleeves. So I'll have something to wear other than Rikku to your party! Yay!! 8D

I am surprisingly keen for duck duck goose, and I hate physical activity....
My MP3 player has built-in speakers, but it sounds a little tinny and doesn't go too loud. I should really get onto taking in my Alice dress, but I've got so many freaking assessments lately! I'll do it when I'm done my Art History thing.

Picnic = fairy bread fo' sho'. Fairy bread is just the universal eat-all-day food. xDDD
Sandwiches, cake, muffins, chips, drinks, mebbeh some luncheon or ham or something, buns, margarine, spreads.... Umm..... Cups, knives, forks, plates, a blanket of course. xD

Lunch at a café if it's raining = Meridian food court? Got lots of different places to eat in there, and we could get looked at while we're there. 8D Speaking just for myself, I love the attention I get when I'm cosplaying. You can't say you don't. ;D

Places to go = The gardens...? Uhmm... That big oval thing nearish spotlight/south dunedin/pack n save sorta place. I'm not sure on the scenic places to set up camp or play games or what have you.
If it's raining heaps, we could always wander the streets in town and go into shops and such? x3 More attention grabbing off the streets. =P

Dinner tiem = Umm....... I'm stumped on this one. I don't go out for fancy dinners anywhere. And whenever me and my olds do, all I order is fish with chips and such, cos I'm heaps fussy. So somebody else will have to put forwards a suggestion for this one. ^^

Alright, places that I like are Chopsticks 101, Tokyo Garden (Teppanyaki), Jizo, Zucchini Brothers in Roslyn.... umm can't think of any others atm..

I was thinking the main part of town, since there's a lot of restaurants there and we'll be close to it if the weathers bad

and yes, Halloween shall be AWESOME O_O since it'll probably be at my house, and I could try and see if the girls could stay at my house on that Saturday and any guys or girls that couldn't stay could come the next day

So where would we be picnicing then? When you talk about town, the only place we could really picnic is the octagon. Gardens would probably be better.

I think we should pick a noticeable spot in the gardens to meet. I thought my flat, then realised how tiny it is.

There's some nice areas in the lower areas, so we don't have to walk up hills Razz

I'll go scouting tomorrow.

How are people planning to get there? Will there be some driving, some bussing, some walking? I'll give everyone my number later this week so if anyone gets lost, they can give me a text :)

How many people are able to bring picnic blankets? I don't have one, I'm afraid, but I might be able to get a hold of one if we're short.

Shall we say that if it's good weather we'll have a picnic and take some photos in the gardens, then make our way into town for an early dinner? I'm probably going to go out with friends on the Saturday night to Chopsticks 101, so I'm not sure if I should go to the same place twice... Tokyo Garden is very nice and just as cheap. And my flatmate used to work there and said she had people come in dressed up occasionally, so we'll probably be okay there Very Happy

If it's not good weather, we might meet a little later (meridian does sound good!) and then go out for an early dinner.

I can bring fairy bread, some pies and sausage rolls, plates, napkins and cups. I think. XD

I'll probably end up making cupcakes. If Sailor Demyx doesn't have a blanket I've got one, but as we've never used it I don't know how big it is.
So places to meet in the gardens... There's the Band stand thing, the japanese, uh, thing by the duck pond, the playground and the entrance. I'm suggesting the japanese hut thingy. I'll probably just be getting mum to drop me off. I'll def. bring my camera but it's just your normal camera, nothing high tech or special or anything.

Off topic, but iris, did you plan out your future cosplays for the next 15 years? XD

Hmm, I think the Japanese hut place will be good :3 If we get lost I'm sure it won't be difficult to find each other (given we will be in cosplay >3)

If it's going to be raining on Sunday(there's a storm coming in off Antarctica and from the water between Aus and NZ), where should we meet? /Doesn't own an umbrella xD;;; Same place, then somehow walk into town, rather than trying to have a picnic on a rainy day? Also, if it is raining when we leave home, should we bring picnic stuff anyway?
I'm planning on bringing a cake, at least. xD Two birthdays in two days. How will I manage with so much CAKE?! xD Yes. That shall be my contribution. An amazing chocolate cake. 8D
