Hey everyone,

I'm Alice, or Alix as I've somehow ended up being known as online for as long as I can remember, and I'm from Wellington. I don't cosplay but I think it's awesome!

I never realised NZ had such a decent cosplay community until I started researching for my photography project for uni.. where I am documenting fan and gaming culture, with *fingers crossed* my main focus being cosplaying for the final project - relying of course on my making the necessary contacts...

Which is a big reason for joining up now, in the hopes of making some contacts in Wellington for my photography but with the added bonus of getting more involved with cosplaying... and despite my incredible lack of sewings skills, hopefully getting into it myself. I love dressing up though, so that part I can do Razz

Hehe, thank you Very Happy My friend needed someone to model for her photography about roller derby (which note I do not actually do, I was standing in to help last minute), that somehow turned into a series of Mountain Dew advertisements lol.

I am very much looking forward to spinning a web of cosplay connections, and getting to dress up myself.. and the less that involves having to sew, the better XD Doesn't help that I don't have a machine... ><
