Corset Materials

| | I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a place that sells, corset busks and metal boning. I have a period pattern for an 1860's corset that asks for these but at present am unsure where to find these pieces. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks |

| http://www.ortensia.com.au is where I get all my supplies from - there is the odd place in Wellington that sells spiral steel boning and tips, but I've found it pretty average quality, and they don't stock busks at all. Ortensia are well priced, have a good range, speedy shipping and are very friendly :) Corsetsupplies.com have a good range of bulk stuff if you need to buy, say, 100m of lacing cord *cough* but their shipping is pretty exorbitant!
Edit: ALSO FRAN IN YOUR ICON! I do love me a Fran. |

| | Which pattern are you using? Some are better/clearer than others! They're not too hard, usually; just fiddly and time consuming. If you take your tme you'll be fine. You should show us when you're done! :) |
