Compression Shirts
By Ravin. 10/07/10, 09:52 pm |
| I'm wondering if anyone has tried using these before?
+T Kingdom (Youth and cosplay friendly) +Underworks (Slightly more professional)
This is an alternative to binding with tape and/or bandages.
Mine works amazingly! I love it, even though it's an absolute pain to get on. XD

| When I looked through an issue of Cosmode, I saw some open shirt crossplayers having this skin coloured boobtube-band thing that covered most of their torso.
It looked extremely realistic, I had to look twice to see where their boobs where.
I dunno what that is, but if anyone knows what I'm talking about, maybe it'll be helpful? |

| The ones from underworks work amazingly ^^ take my word for it XD You can wear them all day and they squish everything nicely. They also don't hurt, but it can be hard to get your breath back if you do a lot of running etc Shawn _________________ Just tune in, turn off, drop out, drop in, switch off, switch on and explode. | | I also recommend Underworks - they work really nicely!! I think it depends on how big you are - I looked at the other one but they didn't have a size big enough for me. |

| @Icarus: Kyokogirl has EVERYTHING. WHY IS SHE SO AMAZING.
I would prefer Underworks, I'm just not sure which shirt to get. I'm very small as it is. |

| + When they say take a measurement of the "full" part, is that lightly so they aren't "squished" or as tight as you can, while still able to breath? O: + Also do they work in centimetres or inches? They really should explain this.
At the moment (according to my attempted measurements) I think I'm supposed to get "small" but I have the smallest chest size in existence, so shouldn't that mean I should get the smallest shirt size?
EDIT: Okay it is inches. XD And I guessed to use the size "Small" because I heard the "X-Small" cuts into your flabbage. XD |

I have the Tri-top compression shirt from Underworks. It's awesome. It doesn't get me totally flat but it gets me from a C to about an A cup. After wearing it for 10-15 mins or so you get used to the feeling of being squished.
And as LintuwolfWing said: it doesn't hurt.
When I took my measurements I ended up being in between and S and an XS. I got the small and I'm so glad I went for the bigger one. As for measuring the 'full' part, measure firmly but not so you are squishing yourself.
I was tempted to get one of the T-Kingdom ones but they are more expensive and I hesitate to believe that a velcro closure will stay put all day... |

| It seems I must have measured wrong, because people bigger than me say they get XS. However, my Size Small works AMAZINGLY and I have a very manly chest when it's on.
Thanks Underworks! :] |

| http://www.t-vox.org/index.php?title=FTM_passing_tips This site has health stuff about wearing the binder ^^ Just so no one dies lol It's about half way down the page Also, even if you get a size just to small they do streach a bit after you wear it for a bit. But that was after I wore it for a week straight. Shawn _________________ Just tune in, turn off, drop out, drop in, switch off, switch on and explode.
