FABLE 3 -- Now, Fable: The journey By DarkGaia. 16/06/10, 03:32 pm |
| Yes, for those who actually know me, im a huge fan of fable >_>; And I doubt theres a huge fable audience in these forumns but im posting to see if anyelse apart from this little puppy is pumped about it! :3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-VEWuStpOU Fable debut trailer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8qe9_hLXiI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrA69uNoQIs&feature=watch_response Interviews with the creators and whats in stall for us There are many more sneak peaks and previews but they can be found on youtube or the lionhead official website. What im hoping is that it doesnt turn out like another fable 2, I mean fable 2 was awesome, but the ending sucked, and their were heaps of bugs unfixed in it -_- ANYWAY, anyone else excited?, it does sound allot better this time aroud >w< |

| I LOVE FABLE SO MUCH. ;-; The second one was so disappointing, admittedly I didn't finish it and I only played a little, but srsly. I'm so glad fable 3 is doing something different.

| Holy crap!
This looks really decent and seems to give you more freedom in what you do. Transforming weapons ftw!
Fable 2 seriously bored me though so dunno if I'm going to purchase this game or not. |

Fable 2 seriously bored me though so dunno if I'm going to purchase this game or not. The annoying thing is that video stores never have it up for renting =_= I still enjoyed fale 2, but after a while it loses its touch when you notice the actual game is shorter than the first fable (not tlc) and the storyline dies when you have to find garth -_- plus the extras in the game are really pointless and feel unrewarding You can get extra levels like knothole island and look into the future with the collecters edition (which I was stupid enough to buy), but only if you pay for it seperatley... which didnt make any sense Lionhead have hopefully healed the backlash they got in the second game with III |

| I preordered it yesterday
Unfortunately, you only get the villager maker thing if you pre-order it on like and have Xbox live, so that sucks >_<, Still, I get a coin and a deck of Fable playing cards, I'll be playing go-fish with Theresa come ACP
@Dolei
The weapon changing thing will most likely be less abrupt than it sounds, but nontheless, its unique |

Re: FABLE 3 -- Now, Fable: The journey By Le_Saboteur. 25/11/10, 08:46 am |
| Has any one else finished this yet?
- Spoiler:
I finished the main game last week. I actually quite enjoyed it (far more than two, but not as much as TLC), I thought the story was solid enough for a light game. I have only one big gripe: the bizarre choice to slow mo so many flourishes- even those that don't kill an opponent. I always charge magic and ranged attacks, so this would happen ALL THE physics TIME.
I liked the characters, although every one needed more screen time. Ben Finn, Page and Swift especially. Walter was great, goddamnthatending. Even if most people would have seen it coming. When he loses his sight in Aurora- URGH. That was a really great part of the game, probably my favourite.
Also; I'd love for them to introduce a different difficulty setting. These games are so easy- I realise they want it to be a 'fun for the whole family', but something a little more challenging would be nice. Even with going full melee and ranged for the majority of the last half of the game, it was so easy. Using magic made it ridiculous.
I didn't like the relationship system in this, either. The quest thing was lame. And how you could only use expressions on one person at a time- NOPE.jpeg, I didn't even bother. I wanted to Cossack Dance for my adoring public! Not play freaking pat-a-cake with each individual person!
tl;dr I liked it well enough.

I dunno, man. The first one had so much charm. This one was at least better than two, but Fable was a damn fine game.

Yeah, it was the same with 2. There were enough decent quests left over after defeating the big bad that it's given me a good five-ish hours. A fair amount of that has just been dawdling around looking for keys and physics flowers.
