Cosplayers/Models Wanted for TFCD Shoot

Hi, I'm Jessi and I'm a metal band, alternative fashion and hopefully soon-to-be cosplay photographer (not QUITE professional yet) from Auckland. My favourite anime series are Elfen Lied, Hellsing, Blood+ and FMA, and gaming-wise, I love Halo, Warcraft and Diablo II.

I want to do some cosplay photoshoots some time after June 25th for my portfolio (they were going to be on posters for Armageddon, but thanks to uni, I'm not doing Armageddon this year).
I will try to get a make-up and hair artist, but I don't drive, so you'll have to have your own transport. You'll also need a costume of reasonably high quality.

The shoot will be a TFCD shoot (time for CD; the shoot isn't paid for with money, but you use my skill as a photographer, I use your skill as a model (even if you aren't one, it doesn't matter), then we both get high-res sets of all the images, for me to use for my portfolio, and for you to use as you please) unfortunately, but it's hopefully going to be a good way for both of us to get our names out there.

Please, please, please, PLEASE do not post a reply unless you have something useful or constructive to say... sorry, but I've had issues with this and people can be very hurtful.

I currently have 3 wigs though, and 4? different lots of hair extensions, and will probably have 1 more wig and 2 more lots of hair extensions by the 25th.

I have/will have:
- white medium-length wig with bangs (I think they class as bangs)
- light pink wig similar to the white one
- black medium length one with electric blue streaks and a fringe
- long dark brown one with blonde and blue streaks
- electric blue medium length extensions
- light pink medium length extensions
- lime green medium length extensions
- hot pink medium length extensions
- red medium length extensions
- long brown human hair extensions.

They're not cosplay wigs and don't correspond to any anime (but the pink one looks like Lucy/Nyuu from Elfen Lied but a bit lighter) but feel free to incorporate them into your outfit for the shoot.

Ooh~ Sounds interesting! Um, are you looking for any specific kinds of cosplay, or are you open for anyone with good quality outfits? Are you focusing on a specific theme/style for this?

I'm open to anyone with good quality outfits, but if it's from a series I haven't seen (I've pretty much just seen the ones I listed, and HellGirl and DeathNote) then you'll just have to help me out on locations and stuff like that, although I think I want to stick with the lighting studio, because then they will be clean and I'll have all the lighting I need hopefully.

RenaStar, I'm not 100% sure. I'm going to have to do some planning haha, but it will definitely be between June 20th and September 1st. I'd like to do everyone at once, because then I only have to book the studio once, but I can do others separately. I will let everyone know... how should I let you all know??

Actually, when are you guys free (between June 20 and September 1)? So I can write out a plan for myself :)

I'm trying to work out when it's best for everyone to have the shoot, because I'll probably be free 90% of the time, too.

i have a mitary outfit from FMA!
but I'm leaving forever to auisse on july 7th. and staying in auckland the night before on queen street.

Yup plus its in a month so i should be ready by then.
If i don't have all my cosplays i'm going as Itachi Uchiha
however i wont have the contact lenses i think...
aww man...i knew i should have done my grunt cosplay...there AweSOMES!!! aww im not doing a halo cosplay until the near future....like next year ill be starting on them

Cool. I have hit quite a large glitch... I may not be doing Armageddon anymore... my uni was stupid and had the wrong date on the brief, and i just found out that it's due THIS Friday, not in 3 weeks time, and they waited until Friday to tell us. They also waited until Friday to tell us that we have to have more of our assignments printed.... which is going to cost me over $750 because I only have 2 days to print them, instead of the required 3, which adds 50% onto my cost... This also cuts $450 into my Armageddon money :"( I'd only set aside $300 for my mid-year assessment, and it would have cost only $190 if I only had to print the one, and had 3 days for printing.
But if you guys still want to take them regardless (I still might do Armageddon but it's looking very unlikely) I will be happy to do it still if you all figure out a location and stuff (long, stupid stroy about the lighting studio being unavailable) because a lot of your characters I'm not familiar with.

Awww man today sucks for alot of things...well thats definately sucks but im sure there a people willing to do a photo shoot, sorry about your Uni...but even if it is not for Armageddon i mean it will be cool to gain the experience ya know? *slaps myself for the rikku moment* my characters or everyone elses?

Yeah, I'm really annoyed about uni for soooo many reasons because it's their issue but I'm sure the blame will be placed on us for whatever reason.
If it's not for Armageddon, I hope people are ok with me using the photos for my portfolio. If you're not, just let me know.
Lol I'm not familiar with anyone's character *blushes*, but it's better if they sort out stuff because they're the ones who know most about it, and it can be what THEY want, too. I'll just supply the photographic talent Very Happy

Ahh i see..hmm well lets hope more people go on...my characters are simple really...
Itachi Uchiha is from the manga and anime of Naruto. He is the older brother to Sasuke and well killed his clan due to an order given from the village hidden in the leaves...Mokona Modoki is from holicxxx and Tsubasa Chronicles...she's a cute magical bunny but im doing a human version of her....Sorcerer (nobody) is a high ranked enemy in Kingdom Hearts 2, Byakuya Kuchiki is from Bleach, captain of the 6th division, older brother to Rukia, Kabuto is from Naruto...the spy for Orochimaru and works for him as well...

but you know if you dont know a character search them up

Lol I still don't get it, because I've only heard of those anime and possibly caught a glimpse of some on cartoon network at my ex's house (he wouldn't watch Naruto or Bleach. As soon as they came on, TV goes off haha). It's because I don't know the rest of the story lines but I will look them up. It's just if there's a character you want to play, there's a chance that you'll know more about them and be able to make things more accurate than me. Anything Elfen Lied or Diablo II, I can do Razz
