Actually, the school holidays are next week and the week after, and I'm pretty sure Uni is having holidays right now. Will people be busy or should we organize to do something fun during the next two weeks?

Okayso. We need to meet up again. But Uni has started up again, and the school holidays have just(yes?) started for highschoolers. So a tid bit of a conundrum!! =O

I think we should have it on a weekend, again, as that's when more people are free. But through the week if a majority of people have a day/afternoon spare could work, too?

-Casts blizzaga at the sky- I remember something being mentioned about a snow gathering? We need snow for that. >.> Doesn't look like it's going to be snowing any time soon.

There was also the baking fest and backyard picnic thing we could do. With the lovely, albeit cold, weather at the moment, that seems like an alright idea. But again, we need to work it around peoples busy schedules.

I, personally, am free nearly all the time. Tho my parents are pressuring me to get a job(and rightly so! D< I'msolazy), so that will restrict my time, also. But I'll have money to make more cosplays. 8D

So!! What are peoples thoughts on this? Are we still keen for meeting up? ^-^ I know I ammmm!!

Weekend after DO say July 31st/Aug 1st?

I'd be pretty keen to do a run through of my Murder Mystery dinner on the night of the 31st if you guys are interested. We can make it an all day event perhaps, with the baking fest/picnic happening late morning early afternoon first, with MMD afterwards.

The best day I would be free would be Saturdays really, but I can do Sunday arvos if need be :3 But I would love to meet up again! It would be awesome!
And yes, that weekend sounds good to me (at the moment at least haha). Sounds like an awesome plan!

Sweet! Lets do the Murder Mystery on the Saturday Night then, Aug 31st.
Yes, it's in Cosplay. Anyone know of a place we can hold it? Hire out for the night?
I can order some pizza and takeaways for the actual dinner on the night.

Are you guys still keen to do the baking/events earlier in the day?

May have to start sewing something then... I'm always keen to bake~ I don't really know of any places that you can hire, but I'll start googling things. Google always knows.
What kind of place are we looking to hire?

Hmmm, just someplace small and casual, with a few tables and chairs,
somewhere to plug in my laptop, bathrooms and with a small kitchen/kitchen accessories so we can eat! Heck, if you guys have a flat we can crash in/borrow, that would be sweeet.

Um, as for cosplays, it would be easier to recycle or use an old one. Any character will do, I'll give you a character sheet with instructions and some props to use.

Size of room would depend on numbers, so far ppl interested are (pls let me know of changes):

Good Guy Murder Mystery, your characters, -whoever they are- will be part of an amateur detective association, and you're attending the "Awards Dinner" to see who will win the coveted "Detective of the Year" award.
Ofcourse someone dies at the Dinner, then its up to you to figure out who the murderer is.

As for baking... can't help with that, unfortunately.

I remember Rikku saying she'd be keen to host things, Rikku would your house work? Dunedin seems to be a terrible place for decently affordable places we could hold it, and ones with kitchens seem to be rare. gah!
So if we could hold it at somebody's house it'd be far easier. I'd offer mine but we're (also) renovating.
(it's so weird having no wallpaper...)

I has a fairly largeish lounge, and a medium sized table... The kitchen is nice enough... But I have no yard. The front yard is a near verticle slope with wild grass on it, and the backyard is concrete, where the cars go. Other than that, my house could work..?

That should be fine, right? It's probably going to be typical Dunedin weather and it'll end up being too cold to be outside anyway.

Parents are sweet with is. I trust you're all responsible enough to not mess up the place. xDD I'm keen. ^^
As for good takeaway places.... There's a bunch of fish and chip stores around Caversham(close to where I am), there's also BK, KFC and Maccas in South Dunedin, which is a few minutes drive away..
I dunno. We're not really take away people, so I don't know. xD;;

Is there buses that drop off nearby? I'm thinking myself and Moonlight might have to scare the locals by riding public transport.

I may have trouble figuring out what cosplay to wear - but I should be fine (curse my fascination for villians! xD)
I epic fail with any type of cooking - but I don't mind helping (and consuming)!

As Iris said, we will probably need to catch a bus or something (Although I may be able to bribe one of my flatmates :3 ) It's still a good idea to know though.

As for buses.... I have no idea. ;----; I don't take public transport. Never used a bus by myself before. But I'm sure there's websites and stuff that will show bus routes?

Cool, I'm in for baking at Rikku's house.... ^^ I love baking, will we just go in cosplay or bring the cosplays with us for the murder mystery?

And what time should we meet at Rikku's? and uh.... whats the address? heh ^^'
