so i'm wondering if anyone knows where i could find an armband like this^
and if it would be okay to do the cosplay without it? (it turns out to be impossible to find>..<) thought it made the cosplay slightly more recognizable?

i got similar armwarmers from trademe in 2008 P:
have you had a look through trademe?
my pair were black and red though, standard colors. i do remember seeing black and teal ones for sale at one point.

otherwise, if you can find striped material in that color, you could always make your own, it's pretty simple (:
or getting striped stockings off trademe and cutting them to fit?

DSL Mio without the armband would be pretty inaccurate to be honest. You can get stripy tights from farmers you could make into gloves, otherwise as tangent said trademe is a good place to find accessories like those. My friend got hers from a website called "luxury divas" but it's american and I don't know how ouch shipping was.

^i was thinking this also,
i may try cutting tights to make armband for WCB >.<
but will look on trade me in future, thanks for the advice~

I got some for a Mio commission on Ebay for about $25 all up - not going to be an option for WCB though sadly! Try Kirks - their hosiery section is formidable, and I'm sure I've seen a similar colour stripe at Arthur Toyes on willis street, in the craft fabrics section (quilting print fabrics, back right corner of the shop).
