Yes its legit gais, Portal 2 was announced in March and a release date is still yet to be confirmed. Its still in its early stages, and its just been recently found out there will be more information soon. Any news has also been "suspended until E3." (I highly suspect this is the same E3 gaming expo held every year in...Los Angeles?)

No official trailer as of yet, but theres a lot of info released.

Co-op is the big selling point here. I can see Valve making this ridiculously hard. Which I'm okay with.

It was always coming to PS3, don't know where this announcement being a surprise came from. The original developers from Portal 1 (no not valve they didn't make it they just produced it with orange box) said they wanted it a PS3 exclusive, but valve said no way cause they are a primarily PC based developer.
I'm curious as to how they will implement the 100 years into the future thing considering in the single player campaign you will be the same character from 1. Well I assume you will be considering the rereleased ending they did for it.

The PS3 version of The Orange Box was developed by EA as an outsourced title from Valve which was done because of the EA Partners Program contract between the two companies. Also, Valve are the original developers of Portal. Unless of course you are talking about the developers of Narbacular Drop, who worked on portal and who have been working for the Valve Corperation since they were brought in before the development of Portal.

Press releases have stated that Chell was put into stasis after she was dragged away. Hence the 100 years later.
