Hey all I'm a probie (Newbie)

Hey guys, I didn't know that dressing up as a character was called anything until Wellington Armaggedon this year, where I also found out about this website. So I now know I am a cosplayer and have been since I was 12 years old :)

My Love affair of cosplay started when I fell in love with one of the character's from McLeod's Daughter's, Stevie Hall and my mum bought me the stuff. Since then I have had a few character's to cosplay as, but some all the same. I buy my cloths at op shops to make sure I get gud ones. So far My collection is:

The 4th Doctor (Tom Baker, Doctor Who)
The 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston, Doctor Who)
The 10th Doctor (David Tennant, Doctor Who)
The Master (John Simm, Doctor Who)

Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman, Doctor Who/Torchwood)
Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles, Torchwood)
Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd, Torchwood)
Owen Harper (Burn Gorman, Torchwood)
Toshiko Sato (Naoki Mori)
Ziva David (Cote de Pablo, NCIS)
Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly, NCIS)
Abby Scuto (Pauly Perrete, NCIS)

Next year I hope to do the cosplay compotetion as a Time Lord, making it myself.

Chris is my fav Doctor, close behind him is Tom then David.

Yeah I love Torchwood and Doctor Who and my dad is a big supporter of both of them and what I do so that's a bonus too Very Happy

he he helps me out with my costumes, as to say how I can improve.

I'm really looking forward to making my first costume, I'm happy I have a lot of sewers in my family.

The best programs to Cosplay Razz

David tennent is the best. My family are from England and they told me that Matt Smith isnt too bad.

All my Doctor Who/Torchwood Cosplaying is a big thanx to Super Nanny being so encrediously boring. Went into the lounge cos my ma wouldn't change the channel in the room nd my dad was watching Empty Child. Really scary first episode. But fell in love with it all the same.

And 10th Doctor was my first of DW/TW cos play cos I had a blazer and stripy pants. Live around now 4 op shops, which are the BEST!

My bewst cosplay is Captain Jack, because now I've everything but the pocket watch. And the vortex manipulator.

My Mum loves John Simm so much and when twice he Played the Master me and the rest of my family were slient lol

I'm also making Clocksman masks and the killing santa's (which names have escaped me) masks.

No sadly I don't have the vortex manipulator, but I'm trying to work owt a way to make one.

I found owt I had 9th Doctors outfit on miistake by putting clothes on. I walked out and my friend rolled her eyes and said "The 9th Doctor now huh" pretty funny.

Also Gwen's and the Master's (In End Of Time) outfits are the same, except for the shoes. The Master doesn't wear high heel boots. :L

The new Doctor Matt Smith wears old style clothes and his assistant she wears typical young clothes.

Me so happy I've found this sight, makes me feel less like an out cast. Last year was my first year at armaggedon and I was thinking... Am I going to be the only one dressing up?? I went as the Tenth Doctor walked in and WOW! I was so suprised and happy. It's like your family with someone you don't even know.

Me and my friend struck up a convo with two girls and talked for like half an hour. Didn't even get their names sad

Oh! I've worn a celery stick to mufti day!

Called Peter Davison good looking and shook his hand.

I can say I have had the pleasure of having my tie straigtened by the Doctor Very Happy
