Monster Hunter Cosplay Ambition.

I am very, very tempted to try to enter cosplay competition for Melbourne Armageddon. It is going to be a single cosplay year for me, now that I know I can't make it to any NZ events and I'm hoping to make this as well as I could.

Ambitious I know.

So CNZ, I need a little bit opinion. Which one of the following -

- should I go for?

Currently have one vote for Red Rathalos, one generic Rathalos and one for Rathalos Lost Soul Z. What do you think?

Yeah, Rathalos Lost Soul Z is amazing! They're all cool lookin' though, good luck with whatever costume you choose.

Rathalos is pretty much winning by far. I wonder if I could find a good foam craft supplier. Certainly would be great if I could pull it off!

I get my craft foam off eBay from a seller named Wandy-Foam. I can vouch for the quality, but I am unsure if the sheets are big enough for you.

Thank you Icyrose, off to have a look now. Just wondering, do you know if there are any sites that have a good range of reference of Rathalos armour? Monsterhunterwikia is great, but it's only one shot from the front. The artbook also don't say anything about the back.

Alternatively I could start to make my own in game. Being a male character though, I wonder if it's a bit too much to start a character anew just for this.

My USB cable for PSP buttploded though, so currently no file altering for me. 8( Small set back to the grand plan, I just know it!

UPDATE: Confirmed that I can make small female costume modification so my arse isn't hanging out. Which means Rathalos armour that is! I'm still deciding between Lost Soul Z and X. Leaning toward X for being firing red.
