Hi my name is sheryn, you can call me whatever you like, i usually go by sheza.
Um.. I have always been interested in cosplay, I just love being able dress up and be someone else for a day, and the costumes are all so exciting. Today I competed in the cosplay contest at armageddon expo for the first time. I was cardcaptor sakura and wore the cherry blossom outfit from the opening credits. Even though I didnt get any awards or special mentions, I still really enjoyed myself. I'm really looking forward to the anime convention in Dunedin.

Im thinking about my next costume already Hi im new to this! Icon_smile (hopefully for the anime convention in Dunedin). This time I'll do something a bit easier, that way i can perfect it better. Im tossing up between Konata from lucky star (she is so like me in so many ways Hi im new to this! Icon_razz ) or Kairi from kingdom hearts 2 (so cute!). Any recommendations or advice?

I would have loved to see your cosplay, I'm a big fan of Cardcaptors, but sadly, my wallet doesn't extend to going to both days of the expo. (I'm hoping somebody will upload photos of today's cosplayers soon!)

Whichever one you like the most, or can do well in time.

There are plenty of events in ChCh/excuses for making cosplays. Like the cosplay ball!

We dress up in cosplay and have a ball!! Pretty much it's like a school/social dance but as well as pretty dresses/suits we dress in cosplay. As for date don't think it's confirmed but go look in the thread under Christchurch and it'll have the details.
