I felt a little twinge of happiness at the panel where Watanuki scowls and denies that things are going well with Doumeki, lol - I like the direction Holic is going in at the moment, but I miss that rivalry. | Spoiler: | | | Yeah, I'm not sure what I think about it, to be honest... o_O Apparently in the raws it said "daisuki" rather than "aishiteru", which could be interpreted in several ways, so I really don't know... I'm also wondering about what it's referring to with Doumeki's 'decision' - is it about the egg, or about his feelings? |

Which makes me very happy but so frustrated that his decision could be about that, but also about the whole accepting Watanuki as the wishgranter.
I caught the tail end of that semantics discussion in one of the LJ translation posts and 'daisuki' is apparently used more often in general and sometimes in place of 'aishiteru' in Japanese culture. Becuase 'aishiteru' is a bit too full on apparently. I think would've been the same regardless of the word used though.  |

If clamp did mean it as love in a romantic sense I think it would be more likely for them to use suki than daisuki.
Agreed that Doumeki should just throw the egg at wata. |
