*peeks from behind wall* umm...hi?

| Hello all,
I've been interested in cosplay for a few years now especially with my latent exposure to the wonders of anime and manga.
Not sure if I can actually pull of any cosplay myself and frankly I fear myself becoming one of those poor souls who's picture turns up when one searches "worst cosplayers ever" on google...a certain guy in a sailor moon outfit comes to mind...
And yet I am still considering pursuing this hobby/interest...God help us all.
Current prospective character I want to be is Basque Grand from the Full Metal Alchemist series. Sure he doesn't have too much a role but he's the only character I have even an inkling of resemblance to. Just need to go bald, shave my eyebrows of and stick a massive pointy moustache and voila. That plus the uniform itself and those mother of gauntlets...but I'm rambling now so I apologise.

| I'm sure you'll fit in fine. I'm willing to bet that the largest section of the cosplaying community in any country is people who feel inexperienced and unsure as to whether or not they can do it well. I know I sure am.
But it's all about having fun. As long as you're doing that, who cares what anyone else thinks of it. ignorance is bliss my friend. And bliss is happy living for all. |
