| It does depend on your size...if you are small, you need less fabric and so on...

| I usually use poplin - You can make your Aya out of this.
I don't know, I suck at measuring how much I'll need, so I'd say about 2m for your aya top and 1.5m for your skirt?? Look around for some tutorials and see if they have measurements as well, then base your fabric needs off that.
(Elaine's not loading for me so I can't see D:) |

| For Elane, use cotton. COTTON IS THE BEST. Preferably the thicker kind (costs around $7m, the thinner kind is slightly see-through and $5m). Or something that isn't shiny, doesn't look weird in general, etc. So if you're unsure, sticking to cotton is the best. OH I LIE. The thicker cotton stuff is called something else, but at spotlight they are held in the same area. Um, CANNOT REMEMBER THE NAME, OTL. But stay away from silks/satin/shiny/furry (unless something has fur 8DD, but from memory, Elane doesn't). Like, the material I have for my Magna Carta cosplay is a thick (slightly hard, but that doesn't matter xP) cotton like thing. I'm not entirely sure. BUT IT'S LIKE COTTON 8D. Or, if you can't find a thick cotton, then find a cotton that doesn't have some parts thicker (the really thin white cotton tends to have it) and double it over. White is also generally see-through, so a thicker fabric is best. ... Now that I've rambled a bit ... Er. I'll try and remember that name. OTL. |

| Org coat = I would probably say pleather. PVC is rather shiny. Uhh, shops in Wellington that sell pleather ... I have no clue >__> I find it hard to find stuff like that Dx |

YEEEESSS. THAT ONE. Drill is what Syill and I are like, "OMG. DRILL. //drool" over xP. But it doesn't come in a HUGE amount of colours. But Elane is white, so it should be good for her. But don't use it for the shirt of Aya? (Touhou girl xP). Should be okay for her skirt though. |

| | Thanks for all the advice! I'm thinking maybe for the black layered part for Elaine's bloomers or whatever they are to use something like lining maybe? |

| What I would do would get black cotton, and then pleat it, and then sew it onto the inner edge xP. (Or you could sew the top of the black along, without back-stitching, and then pull the thread to gather it xP). ... If you are confused I can grab some scraps and takes photos to show you what I mean xP. You could also (a assume) stick interfacing on the back of the black cotton to make it stonger, so it gives a more 'sticking-out' look xP. |

| Nee I MIGHT have some grey butter satin left over from my Rue so I can give those to you If not I suggest a light weight silky material with a slight sheen for the grey lining. As Pura suggested drill would be ideal for the majority of the white of Elaine. From memory you aren't very big (almost my size) so I think about 5m should be more than enough for both the top and the bloomers. You will also need white tulle (netting) for the bloomers though i dont know how much. Will need to teach you how to make them hurr ... You will also be needing blue bias for the sailor collar adn as for the green petal bits mmm idk ... thatll have to wait XP For Aya I would suggest modifying a cheap white button down top if you can find one 83 and the fabric for the skirt can be regular cotton though it would be advisable to make a pannier for it (jsut normal white fabric is fine) |
