Grungy location for photos?
By Static. 07/01/10, 11:10 pm |
| Hello auckland locals - I'm trying to nut out some photoshoot locations, and am finding myself a bit lost! I'm looking for a grungy, concretey areas with as little built-up area around it as possible. An industrial area with heaps of warehouses and alleyways maybe, or even just alleys. I'm not looking for graffitti and urban scum so much, but an industrial scummy kind of thing. Lol, I'm being picky over scum. Lol.
SO YEAH! Anybody know any places like this? Preferably 'round Howick ways! THANKS! |

| Edit for Static - and not on gang turf please. Cosplayers getting assulted and/or worse would not be a good look. :/ _________________ SPCC - Helping Promote Cosplay Since 2009 - www.cosplay.org.nz & here SPCC Wiki - Need Cosplay Supplies, Know where to get them? - help update our Wiki! 2010 Cosplay Calendar - On Sale Now - Look Here! - Now only $10 $5 Wellygeddon 2011 Photos |

| The loading docks around Britomart also has nice urbany feel surroundings.
From all these replies I think it'll be easier to bus/drive to the city (OMG PARKING FEES DNW, but then CAMERA EQUIPEMENT HAULING DNW) and take some photoshoots around there. |

| | Hrm. Near to howick maybe somewhere in the East Tamaki industrial district. It is quite a clean area as a whole, but we might be able to find a grungy section, dunno. Failing that, Highland Park is pretty rundown, an entire row of closed stores ect. |
