I just marathoned my way through Season 1 at high speed. I finished at 5am Sunday morning zzzzz. That sort of thing is unusual for me, but I couldn't stop watching!!

Now, I have a question. I don't want to watch the rest of the show, at least not right now. I've been told it goes dramatically down hill after the end of Season 1.

BUT there is one thing I just HAVE TO KNOW

What the hell happens with Peter and Claire? HOW THE HELL do they avoid having loads and loads of hot monkey incest?

Do they just never see each other again? Does Peter turn out to be adopted, so they can have hot monkey sex and it be ok? Or do they just have loads of hot monkey incest?

I HAVE TO KNOW!!! Please don't make me go wandering the desolate wasteland to find out!

So the couple with the MOST CHEMISTRY on the entire show turns into a non-couple, and the relationship with the most potential to have fun and exciting things happen to it (incest-potential aside, they developed a high speed fixation on each other that the writers SHOULD HAVE DEVELOPED MORE) and they have nothing more to do with each other??

I thought the second season was worth watching. However, the forth season is totally and utterly crap. I stopped watching after the 5th episode.

Eh. Every season after number one is awful. I've written essays about this. I don't really blame them...they just set themselves up with a plot and storyline that was so mindblowingly amazing that nothing could ever follow it...I like to pretend that the story ended after season one.

Ohlul. I just realized that Heroes just joined the gay-character-band-wagon.
All the currently popular + mainstream shows in America have at least ONE gay character.

Gossip Girl: Eric + Jonathon.
Grey's Anatomy: Callie + Arizona.
Desperate Housewives: ...Those two gay guys that no one remember the name of.
True Blood: Lafayette.
Glee: Kurt.
Heroes: Claire + that random girl who played the evil step sister in A Cinderella Story.

Remember those days when shows didn't need to have a gay character in order to gain popularity? Eerr.. I'm not being homophobic. Just stating the facts. OTL.

I've seen all the seasons bar the new one. Man, I remember how GOOD season 1 was. My partner and I used to get chinese takeaways (good stuff from Welcome Vegetarian in Chch, not lame stuff) and move the couch into the computer room to watch it as soon as it was released on line. We were always SO EXCITED for the next episode.

Then... yeah.

I was really hoping Peter and Claire would have some weird pseudo-romance sad

It wouldn't have to be pseudo-romance. They both fixated on each other really REALLY quickly, and had the sort of connection people spend their lives looking for (romance or otherwise!) and then... they never see each other again? What?
I find it frankly unbelieveable that a 16 year old girl let a guy she's been fixating on for weeks out of her sight without demanding his cellphone number and email. (They were stuck in traffic for quite some time!) Or left the scene of the final showdown without giving her number to everyone there, and telling them on no uncertain terms to give it to Peter as soon as he landed.

I love Heroes, but I've only seen the 1st and 2nd seasons. I just got the 3rd on DVD, though.

Peter x Claire never really happens in the new season. He's more the 'older brother' sort of role.

BUT! Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia did start a temporary romance in real life. Dunno if they're still together though : /

Everything past season 1 went through weird fluctuations of pretty good --> really crap. That whole Petrelli family thing was really lame. And then there was Elle, who was great. And then Peter's in the future again, and it sucks! How many times did that happen?! And then there was that 'camp' that the first gen. grew up in, which I thought was a really interesting thing to add in to the mix...

Argh. I hope the new season presents something a little different, and hopefully something consistent(ly good).

As far as the hotness goes, Isaac (crackhead future painter from season 1) and Mohinder do it for me Heroes 94682 Except not The Fly! Mohinder, because that was creepy.

I also recently got S1 of Heroes! And I also have little to no intention of getting the later seasons Razz

Lol the Petrelli's are very obsessed with each other; not only Claire and Peter - look at how the relationship between Peter and Nathan is Very Happy

(I loved Jess better than Dean on GG as well, but I really love Supernatural so I think Dean's actor did get a good deal Razz)

I stopped watching heroes after the first episode of the second half of season three... It was just stupid. They should have had Bryan Fuller on the writing team, then everything would have been good.

Hmmm, yes I agree.

So why did TV3 only show like half of Season 3, by the way? I'm pretty sure S4 is done, and why has it not come here??? I'm like Heroes-obsessed, and I curse NZ broadcasting.
