Anime piano much?

So, uh, does anyone here play the piano, or um, want to learn? That sort of thing? *flail*

I'm not very good personally and my hands fail all the time, but I could post some good recommendations for anime sheet music and such or just videos and recordings of good pieces etc, mainly for the piano because that's just what I play, but I know that many people have keyboards or old pianos at home, right?

Playing the piano isn't very hard, I swear, and even easy songs can be beautiful. No kidding. (Ha, sadly, I specialise in those easier songs now that I, well, have awful hands) If you have a keyboard or something at home, then you should definitely play it, if you don't already. :3

If you don't know how, sometimes it's worth learning that sort of thing. The whole, music enriches your life talk.
Usually anime and game music can be arranged easily into piano versions, but I can't do it because I have no software for it xD

Since I have a webcam, I could show just piano basics or whatever. I don't know, I just wondered whether or not a thread like this would be useful. If it is, someone should tell me xD I could just be wasting my time.
It's more like, I think my life is better for having music in it. It's also even more awesome because I can play TOUHOU MUSIC ON THE PIANO NOW. WIN.

If anyone is interested, or has anything to contribute, by all means?

I tried learning 'Crystal Note' (from King of Bandits Jing) it's really simple song but I only got the first half of it and then I stopped and the keyboard got sold :O

Everynow and then I watch a piano vid on nikodouga, come across sheet music for a BGM I like, play the latest M-ACT 工画堂 studio game, etc and suddenly feel like trying my hand at piano again...

This is followed by going over to the piano, sitting down, and trying... within the minute the 'orz' position is assumed. This is generally followed by yakekuso playing of volga boatmen (the only piano tune I remember from my childhood (゜▽゜;)・・・)

You really need to have been going at it seriously from a young age I guess... orz

I was planning to learn piano when I move out at the end of 2010. I think I have pretty good hand dexterity (is that the word?)

Mainly wanna learn piano cos it's versatile.

So beginner advice would be appreciated, e.g a good tutorial to learn to read the notes would be nice nodnod

V-Vocaloid sheet music.....

I REALLY need to relearn how to read music/play the piano.

I can work out some things (just the melody line lol) by ear.

I play piano (12 years hellz yeah) but Nee already suggested all the sites that I use, haha ;D

I'd suggest Square Enix Music but they don't host sheet music anymore... sad. SquareSound might have some anime fanarrangements though, can't remember...
