So who's keen for a Terminator cosplay group? Probably not a competition group, coz it's all closet/second handing (unless someone is keen for T1000-ing it up.

Who doesn't love stolen pants, undercuts and aviators? Very Happy

(Anyone who mentions Salvation gets a shotgun to the ear! Ditto to anyone who mentions the tv-show-that-shall-not-be-named!)

Coz Sarah Connor is pretty much my hero at the moment.

And I was young enough when this movie came out that it's ok that I have a crush on this guy:

I would vote for a non-competition day. I'm in Wellywood and SS is in Hawkes Bay, so Wellygeddon would work. (I'm also hoping to be hitting overseas next winter; might not be in the country for Auckgeddon.) The costumes aren't complicated or expensive, even a decent prosthesis for our Arnie would be pretty easy to whip up. We could go for 2010.

Saturday Wellygeddon sounds good, and if you can bring background music, you're DEFINATELY in!

Terminator Ball mask? I don't believe I've seen piccies of that.

ALSO: Creature: Is this you forever relinquishing your geekcard due to not getting it? Or are you deliberately being obtuse? Razz Coz, I thought you were a higher quality geek than that. I may have to lose all respect for you.

I'll admit, I've never seen the Terminator movies, but I *did* recognize the quote. Hence why I made a point of noting that I was ignoring the topic Razz Also, the quote is adapted from a line from Stargate: Atlantis. Am I redeemed?

Sort of, but the point is different. I hold that the future *is* set, because our behaviour is predetermined by our character, by who we are, how we act. And if the way everyone acts is predetermined, so is our collective future. The key difference is the discussion of if the future is set, or not.
