This rule kind of isn't fair on NCIS as we are spread out and all can't be in the same photo, and we don't have many people signed up for each city. Most of our cities have 2 cosplayers signed up, and palmy had 4 who would cosplay.

Sorry if this comment is like offensive or mean, I just don;t find this very fair in a way, seeing as we lack people, are spread out etc.

Oh well, we shall just do our best and earn points via the other two ways ^__^''

edit: also, When we submit our photos do they just have to be the individual photos or can we like, do a cool layout or something, like have them ontop of a background?

While I agree that rule is unfair toward NCIS can you really be changing the scoring system for this event so close to the due date?
Is their a way it can be altered to be fairer for all?

perhaps only change the way NCIS's entries will be judged, I'm sure the other teams put in alot of effort to get as may people into each of their photos as possible so I wouldn't want your efforts to be wasted.

@Mandie: Participants have to be signed up for CNZYT, sorry.

@Thread: =A=; the participation scoring thing is already complicated as it is, creating different scoring methods for different teams will just make things too hard. I'm thinking I'll just eliminate the participation scoring, sorry guys. I know you worked hard to get everyone together - but look at it this way, you can still submit your photos anyway - and with any luck you had great fun doing it! C:

The photos may well be more impressive, thus more likely to win the 'best in category' award with more people anyway. nodnod

Just gonna say that all submissions have been received and that to remedy the participation points ~~so people can stop attacking me~~ we'll be giving points on participation percentage in the overall submission, so people will only be counted ONCE.

It'll be really good to see everyone's photos, etc (if they'll be put up?)

And here are the results! (Photos in first post, guys Very Happy

)

1. On a boat - Welly (It's the Titanic! This was a unanimous vote Razz

)
2. Cooking (be creative!) - Auck (Very tough choice here - but the tie-breaker called Auckland for sheer adorability, and the fun atmosphere in the photo)
3. Running (ie. dramatic chase scene) - CSI (how much more of a dramatic chase scene can you get than chasing Carmen Sandiego!? Also a tough call though)
4. Fast food - Auck (Originality points here - all the other teams had photos of people eating fast food, whereas Auckland COSPLAYED as fast food)
5. Epic battle! - Welly (Incredibly tough call between Welly and NCIS, but in the end the awesome idea that Welly had won over the technical ability of NCIS's entry. hint: look at the two people at the front of the photo!)
6. Team Name - NCIS (Very different and very witty idea for portraying team name!)
7. Cheerleading! (TOTALLY! 8D) - NCIS (...You can't look at this photo and not laugh. HARD. CORE.)
8. Playgrounds - Welly (very cool photo, and a very neat group shot)
9. JUMP! - Welly (seriously, jumping into the harbour in COSTUME!? That's dedication!)
10. Sunset - NCIS (this was just such a touching photo, even for those that don't know Fruits Basket)
11. Camouflage - Auck (thinking a little more outside of the box for what is defined as camoflague, not to mention a cute photo!)
12. Shoes (betch) - Welly (because it takes guts to create that scene in a public shoe store!)
13. Upside-down! - Auck (so much skill to balance upside down on a swing! D: )
14. Abbey Road (google is your friend) - CSI (very true to the original - and props for getting so many people in line without getting run over!)

Points:
Auckland
260 + 80 + 28(%) = 368

NCIS
260 + 60 + 69(%) = 389

Welly
280 + 100 + 50(%) = 430

CSI
280 + 40 + 70(%) = 390

(percentage number is percent of team in the photos ;3 - our compromise for the participation issue)

Therefore, for this event, the rankings are...
1) Wellington - 430 points
2) CSI - 390 points
3) NCIS - 389 points
4) Auckland - 368 points

... Lol. Lavi and I are in the top corner of CIS "Epic Battle" photo xD. I lol'd. No one noticed we were there for quite a while 8DDD.

I'm so proud of NCIS we may not have won much, well actually the whole day we spent getting our photos was worth nothing because we didnt win anything for them ~~Even the half an hour it took sorting out the epic battle~~ lol. Oh well. We did our best and I'm so proud of everyone.
