Medieval Picnic

Apologies for not forwarding this sooner, have been very sick ever since Geddon. So I may or may not be able to attend myself :)

Come one, come all to a celebration of the coming summer! The grass is
green, the sun is out[1] and it is time to gather in the park and meet
those both old and new. Therefore there shall be a medieval and
renaissance themed picnic, with fencing, dancing and music.

This picnic is to be held on Sunday the 8th of November, in Cornwall Park
(Greenlane West) from 1pm until 3pm under the trees where rapier and heavy
practice happens.

BYO food and drink. Costume (if you have it) is encouraged but optional.

Directions (Also look for banners and people in costume):

If you're driving along Greenlane West (heading East towards the
motorway/Ellerslie Racecourse), the entrance to the park will be on your

Approximately 150m in through this entrance on your left, you will
hopefully see some SCA signs and a number of people gathered in under the
trees about 15m away under a large tree.

I always mean to go to these.
But I think I already have plans, although 1pm to 3pm should in theory be fine... I hope.

I will have a look see where your local groups are and point them to this thread :)

I may attend but not dressed in garb. Though I may fit my entirely hand sewn dress which is a nice lesson in don't just don't ;)
