I never got to Finish this video.. i did once.. but then my Programs Crashed and I lost Half my work.. But there is more here than what was Shown in the AMVcomp This year

Look up freedomxfighter :) and then mangakarob the latter is a great friend of mine whom if he was in NZ i'd force him to be on the forums XD

Thats the ONE! IT WAS SO EPIC!
I remember it so vividly. Luved the mesh with the blue haired dude - sorry dont watch bleach enuf to name the villains. My sisters more of a die hard fan.
Anywhoz, sucks you lost the other half. I've had that happen to me once and I tried redoing it but never turned out the same.
Oh yeh, I meant to ask, I missed the beginning of the screening but did you win? If so congrats, you totally deserved it! And if not wtf. Cos no offence but the rest were pretty ave compared to yours.

Actually, funny thing is after I saw urs my jaws dropped and I was like,
"glad i didnt enter this yr cos my vid wud've been smashed".

Then I saw the rest, which gave me a glimmer of hope that I could still stand a chance.

LOOOL!! Sorry.. I have no Clue what to say at this point...

Well I will be trying to enter next year as well.. with 2 - 3 Videos you will find them in another section.. I did a Little Sneak Peak thing Lol...
Though I am Keen to Teach anyone that is willing to learn how to make them Like I do.. or a Similar if anyone wants to Move from "Windows Movie Maker" to "Sony Vegas" cause that is what I use.... In face.. I might Post some Screen Shots up... So show people what my Projects look like etc... ^^

I might take you up on that offer. I've been meaning to get back to my hardcore amv roots. You can consider me your apprentice if your up for it. I probably dont deserve it but heres an example of my work. Can you tell whether I have potential? If I dont I wont bother getting coaching.
What edition of Sony Vegas do you use and what specs do you need to run it?

Question i have for you now is.. what Editing Program did you use to make that..
And also.. I use Sony Vegas 8.0 Pro

It doesn't take much..
All you need is a Decent enough Graphics Card.. and at least 3 Gb Ram.. Lowest you can go is 1.5gb ram..

but we should stick to three.

After you get that... then we can talk Very Happy

Ok might have to spend some moola on my comp then. graphics cards pretty old..it doesnt play sims 2 at HQ and think my rams 2G. That does explains why adobe premier kept crashing now.

If you lived in Christchurch.. I could Provide you with a G-card (Providing it fits) its pretty good in my opinion. (Doesn't fit in my current PC, but if it fits in yours you can have it for $50

I dont live in christchurch so thats fine. I think my bother-in-law has a pretty good graphic cards floating about at his house. Will see if I can scab one off him. Afterall it's nearly xmas..he must be getting into the spirit of giving =D

Funny thing though, something tells me my enthusiasm to do this will grow thin...not cos of u just cos i usually come up with these crazy projects when i'm procastinating. which admittedly i was doing...But now i've finished exams, im actually thinking of doing something entirely different....
I thinking of doing a dance video!. I'm getting tired of using other ppl's footages and re-editing it myself....
I wanna start from scratch and do some filming, producing, photography, the works!..Other then the fact that the choreograph may not be my own. I want to start on this project. So may have to take a raincheck with this for the timing being....

plus there just isnt that many great animes out that i'm really passionate about that i want to make an amv. I've got songs in mind...just not the cartoon. plus i'm dreading the idea of ripping all my dvds...what a pain. thats why i prefer to do anime movies if possible but theres so few good ones..

Not a Problem.. I plan to be doin' the same thing soon.. (Hopefully) if I get into the course I am trying to get into..
