...I hear it was Alex and Jess who got overall? As in the Samurai Duelist League cossers? Velafasiel is Alex.

Best in Show (and the trans-Tasman cup~) went to Velafasiel (Alex P.) and I thiiiiiink Jess P. is JettWolfGang? I know that's her dA at least. :3

And yes - they are also siblings called Alex and Jess. xD That was one confusing sewing party. @_@

I was very impressed and inspired by the costumes. Clan biscuit was amazing and so was rowan. I liked kurt's edward elric. The arm must of been painful to wear. Now I can't wait for next year's novice class...I'm gonna need a lot of help -frown-

I wouldn't say that at all. P: Besides, everyone has to start somewhere, and the more practise you get, the better you get as well. n_n But that's the good thing about them running the novice and the open class now - it's a bit fairer on people who are new to cosplaying, I reckon. :3
