In some sort of strange way... I really liked the show.

Has the next season come out?

well i dont remember seeing any sort of drama or sitcom that was nearly as good as it. i mean also the music by daniel licht was so good.

there are many hilarious comedys i might call better than it however.

Drama that was better than Dexter?

Rome, The Sopranos, Fringe, Deadwood, Lost somtimes, new BSG, heck even The Tudors (good show, the history geek in me screams at all the anachronistic... everything). Firefly wasn't totally a drama (equal parts drama and comedy), but it was heaps better imo. Really though, Rome x1000.

Dexter had a good premise, but the writing just fell flat for me. It seemed very... unreliable in terms of quality. I gave it three episodes and it didn't pick up so I stopped ~~downloading~~ watching Dexter 462451

deadwood was at least commendable for fixing peoples idealistic view of the western.

Only thing that keeps Dexter from totally sinking is Michael C. Hall, who is mighty impressive.
The show tends to work best when Dexter almost gets caught, which sadly we know won't happen anytime soon. I have pretty much stopped watching Dexter, feeling as though each season doesn't really bring anything new. Season Two did ramp up the suspense in parts, though.

And, yeah, Firefly is great 8D
Not perfect, but great.

yeah i completely agree that it went to sugar honey iced tea after season 1.
season 2 wasnt that bad, but it just went pappy.
