Deep Dive Riku

I am thinking of doing my first cosplay, and i was thinking of doing Deep Dive Riku from Kh2. Only i know nothing about sewing and wouldnt know where to get a pattern from. I would like to make it myself as it would be a learning experience.

Any help with material suggestions, sewing patterns, or sewing suggestions would be helpful and I would love you for as long as my accident prone head possibly can.

picture of this riku? i assume this is the underwater version? my friend did an underwater Sora cosplay i can ask her about it.

xD No, is an Orgy13 cloak and black blindfold.
Kia did it at the end of Saturday at Geddon.

Anyway, I reckon the cloak is a bit too hard for a first try...
