Uryu Ishida's Bow

Hi! I'm really new to cosplay and I'm thinking of going as Ishida next year, and I need some suggestions as to how I should make his bow! @_@ I don't have much access to machines or special materials, lol so i'm thinking just neatly-wrapped cardboard...hahaha too n00bish? I also need it to bend with the string and stuff, if possible.

Guessing here, but maybe some light plastic you can flex into shape and then build around, maybe with a hot air gun to help flex it.

Wow, the way you suggested to make it (cardboard and string) is how Matt made his, I think.

Matt (not many people here know him ..) cosplayed as Ishida at Wellington this year, and his bow was epic.

Anyone have photos of it? All mine are in Wellywood D<

The 'Not many people know him' was refering to the fact that he didn't go to CHCH, only Wellington.

I'll look through my photos from yesterday ... (he cosplayed Ishida again ...).

Well, it's atleast one of Ishida's bow versions, but you can see how it was generally made.

Um I have a real bow you could borrow. You wouldn't be able to take the arrow.
That is if I'm not using it next year xD

hmmmmmm =D Actuallty I might borrow your bow, wing but then again I might not because I'd be sticking blue glo-sticks all over it lol so it'd glow blue... but that's just a thought.
