Any good wig shops in Auckland/fast way to get them?

Alright. I'm not too concerned about the quality of the wig, as long as it isn't, you know, terrible. But I really need to find two wigs for 'geddon (well, maybe one, if I can get my mum to let me to die my hair). They aren't particularly crazy wigs - shortish brown one and a black one ( mid length to long). I simply have no idea to find decent cosplay wigs. It's preferable if the black one if a pretty good, because I need to be able to tie it up/brush it.

Buying wigs from eBay generally ships over fast (two-three weeks), but a little expensive :/

Comic Corner sells a few wigs, but I dunno if Auckland has that shop xD.

Hmm, thanks! I was thinking of using Ebay or Trademe if I didn't find a shop in two or three days.

trademe generally has good ladies wigs amongst the party-quality ones rofl.

When buying from E-Bay, don't be fooled by "FREE SHIPPING!" That just means that shipping is included in the price of the wig = cheap wig = usually cruddy quality.

If you're looking for a physical shop, I know Mr Thank You in Sylvia Park has a few, and I've heard about a mystery shop in the centre that sells really nice wigs, but no one can actually give me any coherent details such as location/name. GRR. So if anyone knows about that shop and knows more, let me know. 8D

There's a shop in Birkenhead~ Uhm. I forget what it's called though... and I haven't actually looked at their prices...

Because when I went in it went something like this,
Me: Hi, sorry, do you have a catalogue of wigs you could order in? I just don't see anything here that would be appropriate. {I remember being really apologetic! D8<}
Them: What're you looking for?
Me: A really long silver wig?
Them: I'm sorry, we only do realistic wigs.
Me: *Rises eyebrows at all the bright pink and green and every colour imaginable wigs*
How about a really long blonde one?
Them: I'm sorry, we only do realistic wigs.

Looking back I think they meant the length... But lul. Ohgosh. They were so rude to me. The way they answered~ </3 ;---------;

I could look for the wigs you described when I'm in Birkenhead next?

Theres this really good clothes store on queen street that sells wigs... i cant remember where though! it's towards the bottom... definately futher down than Aotea square, but futher up than queens arcade. I think its on the left side (walking uphill)

Who're the wigs for? Ref Pic? I have a brown wig which may or may not suit which I don't need and would be willing to sell for the price I paid for it. It's a Cosworx Pat wig in a dark brown kind of colour - it would get to you much faster from me than from cosworx hahah.

There is a shop that sells wigs and expensive hair accessories in the city.

If you are walking down queen street, at some point there is a Dotti (or is it a Jay Jay's?). Next to it there will be a small alleyway (Green and white on the inside?) not to be confused with the small alleyway with "attitude" in it, and if you head down there eventually you will reach a shop with pink interior and, well... wigs. There is also a "Lucky star mart" on the left...

They only come in basic blonde/brown/black colours, and I have no idea about the price, but I seem to recall them having fringe pieces and some nicely styled side-fringe bob cut things. I'm going to the city on the weekend, so I'll try to look around for it...

oh i know that place ... the wigs are acrylic i believe and cost between $60 - 80 i think if i remember right 83 and they don't stock unnatural colours either ... i think ...

I went in there today, and asked about a brown bob wig behind the counter- $90.
