Need a US mailing address?

I do! I had just resigned myself to having to buy my dance pole from Australia and paying four hundred dollars more than if I could have gotten it from the US (not cosplay related yet - but wait!). But then, a friend of mine told me about bongous.com and myus.com - these are companies who will provide you with a US mailing address belonging to one of their warehouses in the continental United States, and they will then forward the package on internationally. Bongo are the ones I'm using, and the ones that were recommended to me by my friend. Their shipping rates are a little bit expensive, but if it still works out cheaper than buying locally, why not? :) I'm saving acouple hundred bucks on my pole, it's awesome - and because most cosplay stuff is small and light, it shouldn't end up costing too much for them either :3

Anyway, now you can all go buy those awesome wigs/fabrics/props/whathaveyou without having to bully someone in the US to let you use their address! I foresee us all becoming more poor in the future...XP

I multiplied instead of divided. Basically if my stuff weighs too much, it'll just be cheaper to go with the australian place I found - that cutoff, to save me over a hundred bucks, is 16 pounds. Which i thought was 35kg, but is actually 7....so my pole can't really weigh more than that, or I'll be back to square one. Again, lol...I've emailed the australians for a weight estimate, and I'll go from there, but I expect it to be more than that.

EDIT: I think it will work out cheaper to use Katie Blair's buying service for Amphigory... The cheapest price on bongous.com is US$25.83... Her shipping charge for the wig I want is US$10.80 plus US$5 service charge. Hm.
