Hi all!
Um if u had read this already... I realized that I placed the first post in the wrong place sweatdrop

Anyway...
Um, Im doing the Crowned Clown for armageddon, however since this is my first ever cosplay, I need a bit of help...
~Left arm... I thought of doing with material and wiring, but I don't think that its very stable.
~Colour...um does anyone know the actual colour of the clown? Like is the body silver, or white, or... or...

Ahh!! any tips, comments are welcome!!

I'm not keeping up on my Anime, so I'm not familiar with D.Gray Man.
From what I see looking on Google there is a few different "versions" of his arm. Could you please post a reference picture? Unless you are going for what seems to be the 'normal version' of his arm...

-thinks- What you could do is find a tutorial for Vincent Valentine's metal arm thing and modify that for your uses, as the claw bit looks quite similar. Since FF7 is SO popular, there's bound to be at least two or three out there. I'm 92% certain Amthest Angel has a nice-looking one.

I would suggest making/buying a base glove, and then adding black fabric to it so it goes up to your upper arm, and then building the wrist-thing onto that. I reckon you could make that all with sculpy, or maybe find a base bangle and put sculpy onto that. The ring-things on the upper arm could either be just fabric or bangles or sculpy... I can't tell from the picture.

The extreme upper band-thing just looks like a cuff made out of fabric.

And that's just how I would do it :p

Hey, no problem. I would make sure that the fabric you buy feels nice against your skin, because if you have something scratchy you'd be irritated by it all through the con. I'd also get something that -breathes- because it can get pretty hot in a con, and something like vinyl is just going to get all gross from the sweat.

EDIT: Trademe sells ball-gloves that are ridiculously long sometimes.
