Halp with material choice? (And where to get it...xD)

So, I'm being a moogle for Auckgeddon.
;_; Dun laugh.
Basically, I'm wearing a jumper wiv little wings on the back and a hat with ears and the pom pom and such...xD But I've no idea what to use for it (Material wise). :C
I'm thinking Spotlight for where to get the material, but does anyone no anywhere else to get good material?

I'd recommend polar fleece, 'cause I aways imagined Moogles as being all furry <3
